Leave a CommentGot a call from this number at our office and they asked for my husband, told them he was working. They said they would call another time and I told them he works int he field ALL DAY. Caller said she's try him on his "other number". No second call so I guess she figured out this is the only number.Don't know why they would be calling us - we are not behind on our mortgage, have not been behind ever, have not asked for any loan modification information, and don't need help paying our mortgage.
I would like to add on to what Chris said. I****isted Mortgage Outreach Services for a short period of time, and the goal is basically to help borrowers that have defaulted on their mortgage loans find a reasonable solution in getting back on their feet. And you also have those who may be current and can actually afford their monthly payments, but would like to get in on the loan modifications, just because. Believe me I have been in customer service management for years, and placing an outbound call to someone who is delinquent is one of the worst things you can do because no one wants to talk about their bills when they cannot pay them. One of the things I find amusing is that you place an outbound call to someone who has asked for help, and then they screen the call and don't answer it. They call the number back and you end up getting yelled at because they were on hold for hours. Should have answered when you got the call. Most of the comments on here I can understand where everyone is coming from. We are all consumers, however in defense of the company they are working very hard to make that communication and believe me with the way these homes are foreclosing, and mortgage companies trying to get their borrowers help we should all be a little more thankful that a company such as this is out there to help. Rest****ured ***ody wants your social security number. If you get a call from debt collector it's probably not going to do anyone any good. ;)Take care, and I wish everyone the best!!
mos is the worst company ever. They are dishonest and very disorganized. They are ill eqipped and poorly trained. There is no protocol and the people running it lack experience. It is almost as if they just fill the positions with anyone. They also lack professionalism. With the way they practice business they are sure to get a lawsuit thrown at them soon.
In reference to the above comment, I work for this company and am one of the people who call you. All call center operators are required to ask for THE LAST FOUR DIGITS ONLY of your SSN, they do this so that they can verify your iden***y and discuss your personal information with you. Most of our operators are polite when the customer is not very aggressive, even though the fact of the matter is that most of the people we call know they are not paying their mortgage and think we are collectors. This can lead to a lot of misinformed and very stressful conversations. Also, the reason this particular rep ***g up on you is because Call Center people get paid by the hour with incentive per transfer. That means if you are not being cooperative and are giving the appearance that you will not end up being transferred some of them will **** up on you, especially if we have a lot of calls to do that day. In closing, I can****ure you that this company, though annoying, is calling you to help get you in contact with your servicer or see if their is a mortgage modification plan that you can be placed in so you can keep your home.
I don't believe they are trying to help. The woman who called me on my cell was extremely rude, demanded my personal info like SS# and account info, address, etc. but would not give her name. Refused to send me info in the mail. Then ***g up on me when I said I do not give info on the phone. I am refinancing but not in arrears. Smells like blood ****ers to me.
Mortgage outreach is a company that has been hired by many large banks to****ist people with mortgage modifications. They are not independent but are actually representing banks because the banks are so overwhelmed with people trying to modify their loans.
Just as an FYI for all you asking about M.O.S It is a sub servicing company that is hired by various ins***utions to help avoid foreclosure. There is nothing shady about this corporation as they work for the big mortgage companies. If they have your information SSN# and Loan# and such info it is because they have been hired by your mortgage company to help them****ist with trying to avoid foreclosure. Not dealing with them is a lost opportunity by anyone who is behind on there mortgage and in danger of foreclosure. They do not deal with any other types of debt aside from mortgage. So they are not your typical bill collectors. Take advantage of the help they can offer you.
Mortgage Outreach Services called and said they were calling on behalf of my mortgage company--only they talked to my babysitter (who identified herself as a babysitter and is obviously a teenager). They gave her way too much information about my mortgage when she obviously was not myself or my husband so I figured so****ing was up.I am going through a re-writing process with the mortgage company so I called my rep. My mortgage company said that they have NOT contracted any outside companies to call on their behalf and that a lot of companies are taking advantage of people during this time.I called MOS back and they got a real at***ude with me when I told them what my mortage rep had said. They asked for her name (which I gave) and I asked to be taken off of their calling list. The first thing they asked for was my loan number or social security number. No way was I giving them my SS# so I gave them my mortgage number and they had my husband's name down with the last 4 of MY social. That is VERY su****ious. I would definitely be careful when dealing with this company.
Well I heard on a radio station this morning that Mortgage Outreach is hiring for Ful-time and Part-time workers hours(8:30 am to currently 10:00pm and Weekends), but is trying to get to Midnight. they will****ist customers nationwide on in helping on solutions on how to repay their mortgages..main s****s needed effective communication. This is why i did a search on this number...
I am a mortgage default specialist. this co will call you to see if there are ways for you to keep your home, and also other bills that are behind. they are hired by companies to find customers thru skip tracing and other tactics that they have tied to get in contact with. so yes you may want to check your credit reports and see if there is so****ing that has been purchased and you didn't buy it.
This company is Mortgage Outreach Services. I looked into them and they are hired by banks to help them make contact with customers who have become delinquent and they have not been able to make contact. Looking further into them I found out that though they are licensed as debt collectors they don't actually take payments and just help the bank reconnect with their borrower and****ist trying to find ways to help prevent foreclosure. Apparently a lot of people don't know what other things they can do except pay everything they owe. With all this mortgage stuff in the news I'm sure there's more and more pressure to work out loans with borrowers.I checked on that Cigna name as well. It looks like Cigna had the number before this Mortgage Outreach but some phone provider databases had not been updated. I heard that Super Pages/White Pages has over a million phone numbers that don't show the right name. That's scary. Apparently this number shows Cigna in some places and Mortgage Outreach in others.
http://www.mortgageoutreach.com/lenders.aspxhere is the website
WELL AFTER READING EVERYONES CALL COMMENTS> I checked out the morgage company website and they are a licensed debt collector company.I actually am over due on my credit card so that is why i am being called.I wish you all the best of luck in fixing your issues.
Keep getting these calls from Cigna Healthcare. The only time I answered they said they were from Cigna and then they were from WaMu, all in one call. The letters we get are from Mortgage Outreach for WaMu. They say they are a debt collector, but not to send them any money. Googled Cigna, the number listed is 804-273-1100. I think these people are poa****g the phone number from Cigna to get people to answere their phones. The message they leave is a recorded message to call another number. The letters are coming from Farmingdale, NY.
These calls come in several times per day. No one is ever on the otherside of the telephone when picked. I called the number back and they are a Debt Collector for Mortgages. They claimed to have removed our business telephone number from their list...we'll see!
The name that shows up on my caller id is Cigna Healthcare. When I answered the woman said she was from Cigna and she was looking for my husband. When I told her he was not available she asked to leave her name and said she was from Washington Mutual. Does not sound to good to me. She forgets what company she is calling from.
I keep getting these calls! When I re-dial and ask them to take me off of their calling list they say they have no record of my number. I listen to the message "Mortgage Outreach" so****ing, they give me a number to call back regarding a property. I call the number and it's a dating service! What?
i received a call from this number and the message that was left was about mortgage relief services. I've been getting behind on my mortgage (FYI). They ask to call back at an 866 toll-free number.
These calls are related to a mortgage debt collector. Mine in particular are regarding a mortgage in arrears with Aurora Mortgage Lenders. They come acrross as if they are there to****ist you with your mortgage but are a debt collector.
Just received a call from this number. No one speaks when I pick up, and no messages left when gone unanswered.
