Leave a CommentAnthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health Plan Rep.- Integrated health model program, RN - Case Manager... calling in regards to health information.
This call is an RN from your health insurance. This person is not doing a survey nor is she/he trying to sell you anything except the value of YOUR OWN HEATH! There is no cost for this valuabe service; they are not asking for any money of course. This is a benefit you may not know anything about but what you are en***led to receive when you sign up with your plan. They are trying to contact you to offer you an opportuunity to partner with a healthcare coach on things like wt loss, avoiding a heart attack or keeping diabetes away and too many other things to mention. Who reads the entire booklet given to you when you sign up with your health plan, right? That is why they call. (about 3 times per protocol and they also mail you an invitation letter) I wish you all good health. Peace~Mary Ann RN
This is blue cross blue shield health insurance.
They left a message on my phone - turned out it's Blue Cross/Blue Sheild customer response team -- NOT Merck-Medco. My bad.
I called the number from a blocked phone. It was a recording advising me my medical insurance provider was trying to reach me and to call the number on the back of my (medical) card. I called BCBS but it wasn't them. Turned out to be MERCK-MEDCO. I blocked them from my cell phone because they call relentlessly when you buy drugs from local pharmacy as opposed to using their service. (I am allowed to choose with the type of employer-based medical coverage I have.) Merck Medco opts to bypass written orders to fill drugs with ***nd. I have called when the writ stated the RX (non-generic) by name, and the pharmacist filled with generic. I have also called MM when the writ stated specifically *not* to fill with generic and their pharmacist did anyway. So I told them I will never use their services a***n due to their blatent disregard for my medical care and my doctor's orders. Basically, whenever you buy from Walgreens or CVS, Merck will call you to discuss the benefits of buying generic from them.
They called my cell today and did not leave a message.
