Leave a CommentTold them to remove me from list. I'm registered on Do Not Call List.
Meyer****ociates Teleservices is one of the most unethical companies that I've ever worked for. The day I walked out I felt like a million tons had been lifted off of my shoulders. This company is hurting for contributions, so they have s****ed a program of systematically bullying****ential contributors into giving money. They will call you once a day, every day until you either give so****ing, or you demand to be taken off of their list. You will not be taken off of their calling lists. They cloak themselves in the fact that they are a poltical organization and they are exempt from the Do Not Call Registry. If you receive a call from a Meyer rep, and you feel like they are rude, don't. They are doing what they are being instructed to do for fear of losing their jobs. Many of them would walk out in a heartbeat if there were any other jobs in the area to be had. This is what Meyer****ociates counts on. Keeping their employees in a constant state of fear for their jobs. Meyer****ociates opened their call center in Eveleth, MN where the economy is based almost totally on iron mining. These mines have laid off ***dreds of people and there are more lay off sure to come in the future. If you have requested to be removed from their calling list and are still receiving calls, contact the Federal Communications Commission and let them know that Meyer****ociates is violating the law. This is the only way that you will get them to stop calling, and I'm sure that the employees would appreciate it greatly.I had another job to go to, but many of the people who are still working there do not. If you don't want to talk to them, just say no and **** up. I can****ure you that they will understand and they will thank you for it.
this was a political fundraising call from the Democratic Party of VA. After I told them I was unemployed & could not donate $50 they tried to get me donate less. DUH. I'm buying groceries with UNEMPLOYMENT benefits...DUMBA**
this number calls at least 3 times a day. it rings 3 times and when i dont answer, they **** up. my voicemail is set to pick up after 4th ring, but they don't let it ring that long. its very annoying.
I'm so glad I now have caller ID, so that I don't have to talk with all these callers.
Man, I hear everyone *****ing, but no one seems to want to do what needs to be done to get right of these pests. While they are exempt from the do not call registry, they are not exempt from the Federal Communications Commission or the Federal Trade commission. These agencies take a dim view of telemarketing companies that continually harass the people the call. My wife and I have received dozen of calls from Meyer****ociates every week for months. We were finally forced to c****e our number and keep it unlisted. Within one month they were calling us a***n at the new number and I have no idea how they got it.We filed a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission, and inside of two weeks the calls stopped completely. Since the phone company had no idea how they got our new number, they agreed to c****e our number a***n at no charge.File a Complaint! It's the only way to stop these people.Federal Trade Commissionhttp://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htmIf we all file complaints, just maybe we can put an end to this telephone nightmare.
Sign HuffPost's Say "No" to Pollsters Pe***ion!Today's political landscape is littered with politicians and reporters addicted to treating polling results as if Moses just brought them down from the mountaintop. Since we can't expect these polling ******s to kick the habit on their own, we've decided to stage an intervention. And it's as easy as ****ing up your phone. If enough of us refuse to answer pollsters' questions, their data will become so unreliable even the media would have to admit it was useless. --*****na Huffingtonhttp://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/01/11/sign-huffposts-say-no-_n_81136.html
Report Meyer Teleservices to the do not call list and complain about the s****ed numbers and the computer dialing. Perhaps they will end up with a nice fine like some of the others have.
Called said they were representing the Democrat Party and asked for $100 contribution.
They called and asked for my daughter, who has not lived here for over two years. I said she was not available and they could leave a message but they said they would call back later. I hate it when they do not have a name on caller ID.
I saw this number on my caller i.d. 2 days in a row at around 11:00 each day. No message was left on v.m. Makes sense if it's a political/survey call as I've had several such calls in the past couple of weeks.
this number called me
THEY CALL AND WHEN YOU ANSWER, THEY **** UP
There is a law. If this is a political group I want to know who! They WILL NEVER get my support!
Its a local # for me. Shouldn't be too hard to find them and beat the **** out of them!
this number calls me also and ****s up...
This is a company called Meyer Teleservices. There website is: http://www.callmeyer.com/Their "Ethics" statement says they subscribe to the Direct Marketing****ociation's "Do Not Call" list. But they called me anyway. The website has a form to fill out for their own "do not call" list.I****ume if you fill it out they will claim a prior business relationship.
Call came in on today, 8/14/2008 @ 12:30 PM, person did not identify himself, but did request to speak to my wife (calling her name). I did ask who's calling and they did say that they are a research firm and are doing a survey. After I said that she (my wife) is not available, they went to address me by my last name of which I'd never given them. Also indicating in a rude manner, " I'll just call back later" and immediately ***g the phone up.
I received an odd call from this number, too. It's a Comcast number, from what I can tell from doing a reverse lookup on whitepages.com
Called tonite at 7:15. Left no message. If political, hard to hit them.
They are an aggressive telemarketing service for political campaigns. They are persistent and will not stop. Call Jason at 612-369-5529 (Cell) and tell him to take you off their list.
Calls come from that number at least 2 times every day. When I answered the call, it ****s up.
