Also received above message. Must be hitting all numbers that have a piticular area code and/or exc****e as I had c****ed mine from Atlanta to Baltimore and had never received this message before.
Received a txt that read: "[email protected] / / You have a new Customer Service Banking message . Call now free : 1-8804-835-6757 to hear it , and follow instuctions . I'm a t-mobile customer. Thought it was about my account, found it weird my husband didn't receive a text also. Because normally they text both of us about it. Did a reverse lookup on the number it's from Petersburg, VA & is unpublished. Probably a spam or scammer..
I received same message.... I called, but didn't get through... I am a T-Mobile customer. It is definitely not their fault as I have found that AT&T and Verizon has received the same message! BEWARE!!! Maryland
First, received a txt that read: "[email protected] / / You have a new Customer Service Banking message . Call now free : 1-8804-835-6757 to hear it , and follow instuctions ." Upon calling, an automated, woman's voice comes on saying that the account is restricted; prompts to enter Card number, then PIN number, then 3-digit code on back. After, she says, "Thank you, your account has been up-dated", and the call automatically disconnects. My boyfriend did this thinking that he was setting up text alerts for his banking account. I called from my phone, heard the "voice", & immediately ***g up because it sounded suspect. I told him to look up the website... which i did for him. After reading these posts, i instructed him to contact his banking ins***ution ASAP; provide them with the number & web address so that they can either block it OR deactivate the Card.
I got the exact same call and message as all the others who posted. I am a T Mobile user in Maryland. I did not respond from my cell phone, but checked it out on the computer. Thanks to all of you who posted your experience. Now I am sure it's a scam.
I just got this text number 3696 [email protected]// You have a new Customer Service Banking Message. Call now free: 1-8804-835-6757 to hear it and follow instructions. I called this number from my office phone and got a recording that it was not inservice.....this is a recording. I am in Maryland. T-mobil
got the same text, T-mobile subscriber too in CO. Shame on T-mobile for letting this things happen.
I'm a customer of AT&T Mobility from Littleton, Colorado. The text came in on July 20, 2010. It reads as follows: 1 of 2 FRM: 804-835-6757@upgrade center.com MSG: You have a new customer service banking message. Call now free: 1-8804-835-6757 to hear it, (Con;t) 2 of 2 and follow instructions. (END) [10:47:41PM] ***END***. I've had problems with messaging services before and never intended to respond. AT&T has allowed messaging companies to bill for services that were never ordered. I recommend checking your monthly bills very closely. The charges are hidden and can be difficult to understand. AT&T doesn't verify that the service was actually ordered. Messaging companies claim to have no personal information, only your cellphone number. AT&T blocking service isn't effective. CHECK YOUR BILLS. COMPLAINING TO ATT&T HASN"T DONE ANYTHING. File a complaint with your state's Attorney General.
text message [email protected] , Obviously a phising site designed to capture credit card numbers, exp. dates and PIN file a complaint at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/

Freud...dont open the message and delete it! Thanks to all you guys who posted, get the word around!
3678 Sender. [email protected] / / You have a new Customer Service Banking message. Call now for free: 1-8804-835-6757 to hear it, and follow instructions. I was horrified when I read this message because I was recently****aulted and they took my ***** pack with all my id and other stuff in it. I immediately notified my bank and sent e-mails to all the credit bureaus that this happened.
Sender: (no name) 3727 [email protected]//You have a new Customer Service Banking message. Calls now free: 1-8804-835-6757 to hear it, and follow instructions. Hah--they wish. OR prepaid T-Mobile customer, got the message around 10:30 a.m.
My wife also got a message concerning new banking services about 9p 7/20/2010 here in Fort Collins, CO. She is a T-Mobile customer and was wondering if she should call. The 1-8804-835-6757 callback number made me su****ious. Decided to Google the number first. Good thing. I'm also on T-mobile, but haven't received the message yet (It's on a different area code). Curious.
You have a new Customer Service Banking message . Call now free : 1-8804-835-6757 to hear it , and follow instructions . T-Mobile - Glen Burnie, Maryland!
Same text message at 10:50 pm in Maryland (Eastern time). I'm also a T-mobile user
I'm in Colorado and a T-mobile user.... Shame on you T-mobile!! Not cool!!
I got the same text as well, also on T-Mobile. For what it's worth, we get stuff like this all the time at work. Generally war dialers regarding our auto warranties expiring, one even rang our elevator emergency phone. I'm certain it isn't T-Mobile's fault. All phone companies get a block of numbers from the main telco in their areas. The war dialers pick one area code and prefix and s**** at 0001 and end at 9999. With the texts it is so much faster to do via a computer auto sending them in an amazing bulk amount within a matter of seconds. Don't blame T-Mobile, blame the phishers and the naiive people who fall for their scams.
I'm glad I decided to google this and see if it was fraud!! Got it here too, Colorado!
D#*N! I just called and entered bogus numbers to all their prompts. Basically, it's an eery, automated, British, womans voice who says there is an update and you need to enter your CC number followed by the pound sign, then the EXPIRATION DATE followed by pound and the PIN NUMBER followed by pound and CVV on the back followed by the pound. I put in 3 digits for the pin and an automated mans voice came on and said, "that is incorrect". Then I put in four digits and she said, "thank you". After I finished the bogus dates and numbers she said, "thank you, your card has now been activated" and she ***g up! How aweful, for any people that actually fall for this! ESP as many of these texts that are going out! wow. These scammers are going to make a little bit of money before the word gets out.
Same as everyone else located in colorado and a t-mobile customer. My husband got it too.

Mine said the same thing from 3571 in Colorado from T-mobile phone. I was thinking it was the Comcast upgrade thing, since they called earlier, but that was from an 877 number not this weird text from 804-835-6757 or 1-8804-835-6757. I also no longer have my kidney and am quite *****... but it doesn't have anything to do with these guys.

Anyhow, they came over and got me *****, I woke up in a tub full of ice, and a bunch of staples in my side. Bas****s got my kidney! That's okay, they must have missed the other one, so, I am fine!

Just got the same text an hour ago. I called the number back and knew it was a scam when it said that my account was restricted. I'm a T-Mobile customer too, although I'm not sure it's T-mobiles fault.

I received a text from 3577 saying "[email protected] / / You have a new Customer Service Banking message. Call now free : 1-8804-835-6757 to hear it , and follow instructions ." A real ins***ution would use better punctuation and make sure their phone number is correct. I will not be wasting my time calling this number. Note to scammers: Seriously, how many people fall for your ****? Quit wasting our time.
I just got the same messagestating, "You have a new Customer Service Banking Message. Call now free : 1-804-835-6757 to hear it, and follow instructions. I called the number, thinking it was related to some recent c****es I have made to my bank account. I do not give my infor mation out over the phone though. sounds like a scam to me. I am also a T-Mobile Customer.
Same text message as previously reported. CO t-mobile customer... someone hacked tmobile.
Got the same text about 10 minutes ago didn't reconize the info. I had just upgraded my phone, so i called from a land line. Got pretty much the same quesstions about cc info did not give any so protect yourself this is total BS. J in Ohio.
text from "3733" [email protected]/ / You have a new Customer Service Banking message. Call now free : 1-8804-835-6757 to hear it , and follow instructions . -------- I am a prepaid customer so I am getting charged for this spam. Only option T-mobile offers is to turn off texts completely which is not practical if you have any contacts under 40. Anyone know a provider that lets customers block all texts from any number not in their contacts? Seems like this shouldn't be too hard to do technically.
Just got it a txt here in CO. Ain't technology grand!?!?!?
Colorado T-mobile user- I received the same message. Glad I googled the number and found all this info, I definately will not call it and I will report it to T-mobile ASAP.
Likewise. T-Mobile Ohio number.
Oregon T-mobile customer. Just got mine. Checked it out here first. Glad I did but still would not have given any info. Just wondering what the!@#$. Sounds like T-mobile got hacked into. T-Mobile ****s and I will be leaving shortly. Too many dropped calls.
[email protected]. I called from a board number and put random number when asked for card umber. they asked for PIN, CVV Exp date everything...! Does ayone in teh forum know how to put a complain?
Same here, Ohio T-mobile user. Will definitely leave T-mobile when contract ends.
I got two identical copies of this same text at 12:33PM PST. I am a T-Mobile prepaid customer in Oregon.
confirmed. Thanks for ***ping this up on google.
I just got it and called and put in a bunch of rando numbers when they asked credit card info. Oh well let them have fun figuring that one out.
I'm an Ohio T-Mobile customer and I received the text message at 5:20pm. I work in the banking industry and as soon as I saw the message I new it was fraud. I've dealt with the situation a year ago at work when MANY cardholders in a few different states would receive text messages to verify their card information and unfortuantely the cardholders responded believing it was our bank. Then a day later they would recieve atm withdrawls that wiped out their account from across the country!! I'm sooo happy no one here repsonded but I just know many people probably did and that makes me so sad.
received same message t-mobile at 5:19 pm
Just received the same message as everyone else @ 4:47pm. T-Mobile as well. Googled it and found this site. Confirmed my su****ions as a scam.
I just got this on T-Mobile as well. Scam!
Same story. Ohio T-Mobile customer. My husband and I both got this text message. From 3659 "[email protected]/ / You have a new Customer Service Banking message. Call now free : 1-8804-835-6757 to hear it , and follow instructions." My ***her also got the message, but his wife hasn't (yet). My husband and I have been wanting to leave T-Mobile, but didn't want to spend $400 to break both of our contracts. This just may be the ammunion I need to get out of paying it!
just got this message, and I've reported it. Be careful and don't give them any info!!!
Got this message at 4:30 p.m. Ohio time.
me too got the same message glad I came here. Called back automated system is asking for account number it looks like a scam
Reported to T-mo I suggest you all do the same
The e-mail address [email protected] is different than what it is asking you to call : 1-8804-835-6757. They are trying to trick you with this.
Just got off the phone with a tmobile rep and they have issued a help desk ticket to have the company investigated. my tmobile rep actually called the number and they are a phishing company looking for CC info. she also texted "stop" to see if that helps, but it turns out only 5 digit sms numbers work that way. do not call this number back!
Got the same message @ 4:30 PM. t-mobile phone number. Didn't called.
Just got the same message on T-mobile. It does look like it's t-mobile customers who are getting this fraudulent message. Please do not call back.
Another Oregon T-Mobile customer. I received the same text as everyone else, but my wife did not (has not yet anyway).
Got the text also. Didn't call lol.
T-Mobile user in Oregon: Message said: [email protected]/ / You have a new Customer Service Banking message. Call now free : 1-8804-835-6757 to hear it , and follow instructions -- Didn't call as my mobile number is not my main account contact number... That and the message "Call now free : 1-8804-835-6757 to hear it ...." Yup, looks real to me... So, it appears that only T-Mobile customers are suffering from this today? I know two co-workers who are on T-Mobile have also received this message... They're just working through the number tree...
I received the exact same message at 12:20 this afternoon, but since I have gotten texts from my bank I know that they identify themselves. They do not send anonymous, ***ue messages from an overseas #. Thanks for all the posts!
Same as everyone. Tmobile phone. Maryland location. looks like tmobile leaked private numbers.
T-Mobile customer here as well, got the same message this afternoon just like everyone else. Didn't call back.****umed spam.
Same thing as everyone else here. T-Mobile cell, got as a text, number is in ******ia. Tried pun****g in garbage numbers for the 'card number', and it would not accept.
Hey, look they got my T-Mo number as well... no mention of other carriers getting this... did T-Mo get hacked and now we are getting spam txts?

Received just now on T-mobile cell: [email protected] / / You have a new Customer Service Banking message . Call now free : 1-8804-835-6757 to hear it , and follow instructions .
Received the same message, did not call back.
Got a text today on T Mobile accoutn saying "you have a New Customer Service Banking message. Call now free: 804 835-6757. I called out of curiosity and the message was my account was "locked" and to give my card number to unlock it. I laughed and ***g up.
****** people think I'm really going to provide them with my card number? Really? Yeah, ok. An automated system asks for your card number, then your expiration date, your PIN and CVV. We'll see how far they get with the information I gave them!! Just another sad attempt...
Just got a message from them on T-Mobile. I have never given my number to anyone (use Google Voice).
I just got this on TMobile.. If you call the number back your phone will get charged $75 (added to your phone bill)
Received txt msg at 3:25PM EST to my work phone. Same msg as all the others. Only my company has this number.
