Leave a CommentJust received a call from this number. The previous comments seem to indicate Bank of America is behind them. As far as I know, they do not have a presence in Ca***a - but maybe they are s****ing one!I do not answer calls from out-of-area numbers I do not recognize, so I have no idea who was calling.
Ok keep getting this number on ALL LINES of my Sprint PCS Cell phones and Sprint has a solution for those that re getting them via their Sprint Lines.Log into you Sprint Account: Under "My Sprint Account or My Sprint" look for "My Preferences" if you have just look for "limits and permissions" at the bottom of the page click that then click block voice - then a pop up will come up with all your numbers if you have them on your account and look for "Block only the following phone numbers for inbound and outbound calls" enter the number without dashes and copy to the net number.Sprint PCS allows you to block up to FIFTY NUMBERS!Hope that helps!!
PLEASE IMMEDIATELY STOP CALLING ME. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN ANY OF YOUR PRODUCTS. BOA CONTINUES TO ANNOY *****ANK YOU.
Everyone, please read Debi Smith's message below. She is correct, in all likelihood, these calls are placed by scam artists who can put whatever name they want in the caller ID including BOA, Chevy Chase Bank, etc. They are seeking information to steal your iden***y or access your bank accont or cedit/debit cards. Do not talk to them, real companies leave real messages. Two people that I know, have been victimized. Please don't let this happen to you.
got a call every other day. when i pick up the phone talk in spanish and **** up the phone this harrasment call need govt agency to check this matter i need help to have this no removed
Bank of America does not solicit insurance or any other banking needs on the phone. This is a call from a scam artist. they will ask questions and hope you at some point will say the word yes. It is taped and they get into all your accounts. Just don't answer or don't let them say a word and tell them to not call a***n. Do not use or say the word yes!! I used to work for B of A so I know!!
BOA called me from 805-309-5551 today and some girl s****ed to talk about sending me a credit report. Being all nice I let her finish before I interrupted, but when began to speak up she ***g up on me. I guess that means I have a credit report on the way to my house, which I never agreed to. I know the economy's not doing so well, this gives consumers another reason not to buy.
This number is constantly on my caller I.D. They NEVER leave a message. It is so irritating since I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST.
Who the***** is the call from as I did *69 to trace the call. No one was on the other end as I answered the call. .....
they've been calling my number daily, but they have the wrong name. I opted out for the number and my name, but they tell me that I cannot opt out for the unknown name that is attached to my number, so that they will keep calling. BOA is losing customers by allowing this harassment to happen.
thanks to Judy - I called and they said it's all taken care of, however quickly said so****ing about "12 weeks to be fully effective". For anybody who's opted out, has it worked?
805-309-5551 caled us twice on Mar 11, 2010 and 714 551 5579 called us at 8:07 am on Mar 23rd. No time was anyone on the line. Their Auto-dialer is driving us nuts, since we are trying to contact a real person (who speaks English) at BOA without success. This is interesting since the calls s****ed after we had to file a complaint about BOA, they have problems posting our payments to our account. Thanks to Judy in OK for the web site, I filled out the form and we'll see where that goes. I don't have a lot of confidence they know how to use a web site, since they have problems posting accounts.
B.of A. has been calling me 2-3 times a day all week of course NO TELEMARKETER KNOWS HOW TO LEAVE A DAMM MESSAGE THE FIRST TIME YOU CALL....I have 1yr old twins my wife and I are trying to get to bed at 8pm, 8:30pm,etc...The guy s****ed going on also about my credit report being on its way in the mail...I was like I did not order one. He kept going back to how important it is to monitor your credit on a monthly basis,etc...i a new service from the bank that I can cancel within 30 days or get charged monthly...ts not safe to do yourself on line,etc... NO S**T SHERLOCK He wanted to confirm my address,etc... then asked if he can record me while asking a few questions...I said yes so he can have me on tape saying NO, NO, DO NOT SEND IT,etc...Thats when I decided to REPEATEDLY SAY " I DO NOT WANT YOU TO SEND ME MY CREDIT REPORT, I CAN GET IT MYSELF AND HAVE IN THE PAST..He asked if I agree or confirm that I want to enroll in the credit monitoring program....I SAID "ABSOLUTELY NO" that was basically when he gave up and mumbled so****ing about thank you for time, etc.
Thanks for taking the time posting this info specificly the 805-309-5551 number, I have received numerous daily calls from these folks, I'm trying to rest following ****** cancer treatments, this has me more than annoyed!! I just hope it doesn't take them up to 12 weeks to have my #'s removed as the website indicates.

They called and said I have a credit report coming in the mail, and I stopped her immediately saying I only bank with my wifes bank. She said what about my mortgage and I replied I am renting. She then s****ed to rattle off my address and it was completely wrong. She apologized and said they would take the number off the list. I just wonder how they can say they have a name with an account and have the wrong address but the right phone number. Too fishy for me.
805-309-5551 came up on my caller ID as Bank of America. I've recently asked BOA to take me off their calling list and their insurance partner calling lists since I've had a bunch of calls recently (see below for some of the numbers). There's a BOA privacy website you can access to opt out of these telemarketing calls: www.bankofamerica.com/privacy/ Under the Set Your Privacy Preferences heading, click on Set Your Preferences and follow their directions.ORYou can also CALL their privacy line at 1-888-341-5000, which is what I did. There's a 2-step process to stop these calls. 1-They'll opt your phone number out of any BOA marketing. 2-Then they'll connect you with their insurance products number: you enter your phone number and it automatically opts you out of their insurance partner marketing. They****ured me that there were no other partner marketing numbers to opt out of, so these two should do it.FYI:BOA explained the reason why no one is on the line with so many of these telemarketing calls: it's an automatic dialer. If a sales rep happens to have an open line when your number is called, they're connected with you. If there's no available rep at that time, you get the click and the ****-up experience, and your number is recycled in their system to dial a***n later. The BOA or their insurance partner numbers that have harrassed me in the last 2 months are: 800-814-6326, 714-551-5579, 888-665-9900, 405-285-0754, 405-285-0551, 402-982-0584. Some come up as Farmers Insurance on Caller ID, some come up as Insurance Services, 800 Services, Call Center, ... they're all connected.
