SCAM! Got an email supposedly from PayPal about a purchase invoice I didn’t make. This phone number was listed in the message as a number to call “if I didn’t authorize this transaction”. I knew it was a fishing scam trying to get me to call a bogus number.

Same email for $369.00 charge for an invoice at PayPal. There is a valid paypal link in the email, but they are just trying to get you to call. My guess is they would tell you your computer has been hacked and they'll "fix it" for you.

received an email for $369 .. I don't even have a paypal account under my email account ... I tried to looked up and found this .. they even have paypal email address.. and left their phone number to contact because they didn't want customer to get "SCAMMED" .. be careful !!

sent a bogus email saying I was charged 382 on my paypal account

claimed there was an invoice for $382.00 on my account totally fake

Number is listed as customer service in a fake PayPal invoice. Do not call this number or click any links if you receive the email. Report the scam to PayPal by simply forwarding it to [email protected], then delete the email.

Believe this to be a scammer . Claims they are with paypal and that a charge was put through on my credit card . then they issue me a credit through Chase then it miraculously goes for example 238.00 to 2,380.00 and i have to send them the number off the gift cards i buy because Chase cannot do debits. Definitely a Scam.
