Same, some a hole from Los Angeles trying to get my bank account number.

It's a scam, an indian guy from LA trying to get my bank account number talking about I got a grant.  Get a life.

middle eastern dude strong accent and a very poor phone connection.....said His name was Mike Williams and  He was with Health and Human Services...We was eligable for a $5000 grant......asked what We would buy with it....I said prolly a car....then laughed...asked Me to confirm the address they had was correct.....and asked if we paid taxes last year......then asked where We bamked......and what Our account number was....I laughed and said "I knew You was gonna ask that" and ***g up......barely 5 minutes later He called a***n....said*****o....We talked a little while ago....I said uuh huh,,,,, He says I need Your bank acct number.... I said what part of NO do You not understand?? there aint no way Im giving You ANY kinda number so Ya can just forget that....he then asked if I hd a savings account "with just a small amount of money in"....with that I repeated what I had just said........not giving ANY numbers....he says ok good bye.....I then said hey wait....We are on the national do not call list....DO NOT EVER CALL HERE A***N....then I said thank You very much.....bye bye....and ***g up

No one one line and **** up. I called it back and was told it was a non working number.  How is that so?

They call but do not say anything

my daughter got a call...male with heavy foreign accent said that they had a $5000 grant and all they needed was her bank account number.  we told her to **** up...
