Received an automated message asking for my Social Security number and my bank card number. I don't have a bank card with Wells Fargo or do business with Wells Fargo. This is a scam.

No way a bank does their business this way. For one, I don't bank with WF anyway. Don't call these scammers.

just got- and yes I do bank with wells but looked it up online and saw your comments so did not call back- thanks!

Says it is Wells Fargo texting about a problem with my debit card. When I called, it asked for my social security number and I ***g up. I do not even have an account with Wells Fargo.

pretending to be Wells Fargo Bank

Left a text message claiming to be from Wells Fargo and also called wanting my SS. Also uses [email protected]. This is yet another scam as I do not do any business with Wells Fargo.

Sent me a txt message saying urgent call and it game this number to call. I was told by wellsfargo that they never contact you through text messages. Obviously a scam.

Same here. Text from Wells Fargo marked urgent. Second time I've received it.
