I got a few of the same text this past Sa****ay. I tried to send a text back advising I was going to report them for trying to run a scam/fraud..and of course, i got the text back from "Franklin Bank SSD" stating "undeliverable"...

I got the same thing at 5am

I was awakened by my voicemail alert of an incoming text from the same number too today.

Its a scam...there trying to act as the fdi and get your account information. Go to the franklin bank website and they explain it there.

same as above at 11:00 or so today and a week ago the same message

I got the exact same message. I live in NYC, but my cell phone is still an Austin number. I thought at first it had to do with my GreenDot debt card, but now I think it's just fishing...

I received a text message from 8065534097 apparently from BankFranklin.com. The message texted was "FranklinBank SSB locked your account/card. To unlock please contact us immediately at: 8065534097." I've never heard of BankFranklin before. I don't know how they even got my number. I live in Austin, TX too. It was sent to me at 5:35am.

I received the same message (I live in Austin) as a text at 3:00 in the morning.

I just received the same message. I never had an account or card with them.

I just received that message as well.  I used to live within that area code but have never banked with that company.

Both my husband and I have received text messages from this number a multiple of times. Although I have tried replying with a text "This text is being mistakenly to me. I have previously asked you to no longer send text this to me due to the fact that I do not have an accoount there. This is a warning, stop texting me or I will take this to the propper authorities." and also calling the number; where a recording plays "The person you are trying to reach is not available please try a***n later." we still receive them. It is getting irritating and frustrating especially considering we have to pay for these messages and we aren't even members.

What can I do to stop these calls from coming to my cell phone they have sent me over a 100 text messages. how do I get them to stop?
