who are they

It was a fishing scam, I just called my bank & confirmed it. Don't call the number and all will be right.

so is better no make a call?

I received the same text last night. I called the number this morning and the federal trade commission has shut it down. Because it was involved in a scam. The message is a trick called "fishing". They are looking for information on individuals banking and personal numbers.

This wasn't a call but, a text message that said "NATIONAL BANK Alert: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 806-553-5235 to REACTIVATE."

Got the same text. Same number same "National Bank."  Could either be Amarillo or Lubbock, TX.

Are you all from the Amarillo area?I recieved the same text at 6:52 this afternoon.Does anyone know how to find out who it is from?

i got 806 every body have de same bank or diferent bank

I called it back. it rang once and ***g up. do we all have an 806 prefix?

I recieved the same thing and I know it's an Amarillo, Texas number but I don't know who or what company/scammer sent it out....

Just got the same message, I'm very sure its a scam. I would call your bank tomorrow via the number on your atm card. I'll make a post tomorow about it.
