Leave a CommentCaller stated it was a call in reference to the fraud dept from Wells Fargo fraud dept. There was a charge on my acct for unusual activity done in Miami, Florida. for $993.00. I called him out on it because I had researched the number before speaking to him. DO NOT fall for ANYTHING like that until you research the phone number.
They claimed there was a purchase originated in Miami for a $900+ from Best Buy- They wanted to know if I had Apple Pay or Google pay in my wallet - ***g up when I said I had called Wells Fargo after I got their first text
They said my account was charged and they needed my information to clear my accounts
SCAM, pretending to be Wells Fargo. Beware!!
