Got a text from 808-221-3493 that said due to a security update, my card had been blocked and I needed to re register it. The bank stated is was a fraudulent message and number.

Received a text from 808-349-9073 saying I need to call this IDIOT at 808-221-3493 to re-activate my VISA. I reported this scam to VISA.
If you called back to this idiot there is a number on the back of your card call it because this is scam so call you bank.
My 15yr old son received this text to reactivate a VISA. Obviously, he would not have a credit card so I believe this is a phishing scam
Looks to me they are crooks, message says my VISA account has been deactivated, call this number to reactivate.
These people send fake text messages saying the visa server went down and want to get bank information. Do not fall for it ! Scammers I am reporting you to the police
