Person called saying the was notifying me of a Gov't grant of $5,000. Definitely foreign accent and the Caller ID was a long string s****ing with 9. I listened to the entire call so that I could report it accurately. She wanted to verify my address which she had correctly, and my zip. Obviously they were robo-calling. She said I had been chosen because my taxes had been paid promptly. This is when I knew it was a scam. I have filed extensions several times in the past few years. At the end of the call she wanted to know whether they could sent my Grant to my bank acct. or one of my credit cards. I told her no because this was my business line. When I declined by bank/cc info she said I had to call Albert Scott at this number 206-855-3074 and give him a special code. Now that I had a number I posted in this database.

Called me too, speaking with an accent, talking about some $5000 from government. Sounded like a scam to me, so I **** up.

Got a call from this number, was at work so I declined it, they did not leave a message. Called back and got a voice mail telling me His name was Chris so****ing sounded like Home or Hone? and his number had c****ed and to call 3826196. That let to another voice mail with no info.

The number called me and a lady said I was chosen, along with 1,700 people, to receive a $5,000 student grant. I was confused because I applied for a grant two weeks ago so I listened cautiously. She verified my address and then said I had to call 206-855-3074 in order to claim the money. I called and the man did not sound American at all. He asked how I wanted the money...into my bank account or I would have to give him a credit card number. Obviously I said no and then he ***g up.

Someone at +91-808-276-9705 claimed to be with U.S. Government Grants and knew my name. I did not recognize the number or why they were calling me.
