Leave a CommentI've got a call a couple of times from those ******s too.. They woke me up a 5 in the fricking morning on a day I had to sleep in on to work.. I'm filing a complaint to Telus
They called our office. I also kept pushing the #'s at random, for fun, and finally got to s***k to a person. Wouldn't give me his name or what company he was trying to promote. Got nasty & ***g up on me. Maybe next time I will try flirting & get his home # so I can send him anoying calls! They have called us many times before last time was from the 808-375-3341 # THERE HAS GOT TO BE A WAY TO STOP THESE PEOPLE.
I got the same call for a free cruise... I answered the questions only because they really were not getting any valuable info from me. They called my home land line which I only answered because my cell phone (and primary phone) was dead and charging so I was using the land line to stay in contact with friends. The land line is only there for internet and fax purposes so when the cell phone is charged the fax ma****e gets turned back on and all they will get everytime they call is that annoying digital sound! I know that it is only a recording but I turn the ringer off of the land line so I will never hear them call back and their entire scam falls apart there! Now should they try and send unathourized faxes I will go after them for mail and internet fraud or just c****e my number!
I just received a call from 808-954-5062 offering the free cruise for two. I realize this is a scam, but what are they getting from having the questions answered. They already had my phone # or could not have called, so what do they ***n from the other info?
If you ask me it's a home invasion and they should all be **** through the lungs. It's 10:pm here (AST)
Same story as all the others. Wish I had so****ing more interesting to add, but it's clear that Answer Solutions runs the same game on everyone they call.
Operator 2552 for Answer Solutions responded to "Can you put me through to your manager?" by saying "I sure can, please hold" and ****ing up on me.
got a call - same ## - recording said I will receive 2 free boarding p***** for an all inclusive cruise to the Bahammas just for answering questions - Entered 0 for all survey questions, got transfered to an operator and they wanted my credit card for Port Charges for my free cruise. I asked to be put on their do not call list and they ***g up on me.
Same old free cruise. They ***g up on me when I asked for the supervisor. The # was 808 372-6602
This number 808-372-6602 has call my cell # like 7 times, twice during school. A boat horn plays then message says if I answer survey I can win a cruise. When I call back there's a recording that says incorrect number. This numner has also called my parents on two different numbers, if you ask me, I think our phone company is selling them our information because how is it that they got all our family numbers.
Called me at 8:05 PM CDT. ****** boat horn and caribbean music and so****ing about a free cruise. I played along. Pressed 1 for the survey. Answered the questions: Age, Homeowner/Renter, Diabetic?, Education history, English/Spanish speaker, whether you buy groceries with a credit card or with your check/debit, if you have a septic tank, if you have health insurance, if you have or were interested in a timeshare... etc. Then "You earned a free Nassau Island cruise for 2. Press 1 to provide your name for your boarding pass...all aboard (SO CHEESY)" [Thinking in my head how can I get a week off work and drive myself to Florida to ever take advantage even if this IS real??] Pressed 1 for the agent. He asked my name, I asked what this is about and he said I get a free cruise for answering questions and he needs my name, telephone, zip code. I asked if I could get so****ing else like $100 free gas and he said I can only get a cruise (If anyone offering you $800-1200 free cruise declines to give you $100 free gas, its fake I figure) So I asked about the company and he said "I work for Answer Solutions" and ***g up.I have recently moved into this Apartment and I suspect they are collecting my demographics for future telemarketing. I have been getting tons of calls about credit card debt (which I do not have) and from spanish people (which I do not speak), and they know when you **** up, and how long you listen to the automated pitch. I suspect marketers are mad about paying for these "dead numbers" so they do this to find out what marketing I may respond to. I know this information is valuable, but I doubt enough to give out free cruises. My demographic is similar to my neighbors (and yours too probably, just look at your neighbors) so my answers just gave leads for about 700 apartments in my complex. As far as the free cruise goes, I will not know, nor do I care. I only ordered this number so I could get several months of free internet, and will cancel it soon.
They just called me. I'm an idiot. I answered their questions. When I asked the lady to tell me what company it was with, she said "answer solutions". She only needed my name and zip. I gave that, figuring it wasn't much... supposedly I won a trip... yeah right. Oh well. I feel for it once - never a***n.
I, too, got a call offering a free cruise in exc****e for my responses to a survey. I mashed numbers on my phone at random, which was fun, because the survey went really, really quickly that way -- I didn't even have to wait for the question to complete. Then I got connected to a person who identified themselves as working for "Answer Solutions". When I asked who they were contracted by, the lady said, "Please stay on the line for more information", and then ***g up on me.I thought this was pretty classy, actually. Next time they call, I'll attempt to convert them to Christianity.
This number called the home of my husband. We are separated, but were back together briefly when these calls came in. It showed Honolulu, HI on caller ID and he had recently went to Hawaii with his mistress so I was POd!Is this really a telemarketer? When I look up the number on www.switchboard.com it says it's a cellular phone but you have to pay to get the owner's information.
Got a call from this number at 9:15 PM Central time. Almost answered it because it seemed too late for a telemarketer. The caller ID said unknown, and my gut said 'don't answer!'. I have voice mail, but no message was left. Glad I trusted my gut.
Received call on cell phone. I will be reporting them to both the FCC and the U.S. Department of Justice.
Got a call on my cell phone from this number. The voice response system did not identify the company. It was a survey offering a free cruise to the Ba*****. I pressed '0' at each of the ten questions (I'm guessing they're harvesting information, but it doesn't matter what you enter). Once I reached an operator, he identified himself as "0984". I asked for the name of the company and he said it was "Answer Solutions". I asked to be removed from their call list at which point I was forwarded to another part of the voice response system that informed that I have been removed. Do a search on "Answer Solutions" and scam to find more reports.
******* called my cell p***n.
Got call, didn't answer, but someone said that it was a scam for a cruise.
Just got a call, but didn't answer because I don't know anyone from that area code!
