Found a property on Facebook Marketplace and was given this number to contact the "owner" to rent it.... While I was there, He texted a few times asking if I liked it because "there were other people waiting to jump on it if I didn't want it" I asked his name and he kept avoiding it until much later and after I said many times that if we are going to do business then at the very least he should give his name..... Sounded more and more sketchy so I looked on the Broward county tax appraiser website to see the owner and what do you know, it wasn't ***Micheal Gilliland*** and when I called a notice I had seen on one window taped from the outside it said to contact them for access. Turns out that these scammers use a fake name or your name to schedule a walk through and then they receive a temp electric lock number for access that is only good for one hour, so everything appears as legit when in fact the person you are about to send a deposit to isn't the actual owner of the property!!!!
