This sounds like the same guy that called me today and said that my friend put me down as a reference and she has been doing fradulent activity.  My main question is how do they know my name and my friend's name.

This guy with a heavy accent is now calling my work and leaving long messages that I will be in a legal mess. Then he got me on the phone and I could barely understand him. I think they are ********* trying to extort money. I have no idea why he is calling my work number now or how he got it. He would not tell me what the company was called and then said I need to have my attorney call him. Has anybody found out what this really is about or what the company is?  Because I really will pass this information to an attonrey if that's what these jokers want.
