Leave a Commentthe GSA contract is sent to you by GSA once you are awarded. I do not think this is a true story.
My copmany had a long track record of successfully selling about 50-50 to both businesses and government. When the economy stalled in 2008, our sales to businesses dropped about 40%. That’s when we got the call. It was Carol Tights, calling from the GSA, to tell me that they needed my company for several contracts, but I had to first get a GSA schedule. Actually, Carol was working for a GSA contractor, GSA1000, and the contractor was helping the GSA to locate vendors. Because GSA 1000 was working directly with GSA, they could help me to get a GSA schedule, and much of the cost would be subisidized by the government. I called other GSA Schedule consultants, and Carol’s story seemed to check out. The other companies were charging twice as much. I spoke with some friends, who had also paid more than double for the same services that GSA1000 was offering. GSA1000 also had great references on their web site, and guaranteed that they would get me a schedule, so****ing the other consultants would not do. I had no idea how they could make money if htey were chargng half of what all the others charged. As promised, GSA1000 delivered the schedule. We were amazed how fast and easy the process was. Friends who had used other consultants spent hours digging up data for those consultnats, but GSA1000 took care of all that. We gave them some basic info about our company, and they took care of everything else. We were delitghted, because now we could grow the government side of our business, and replace the revenue lost when our commercial customers reduced their purchasing. All was fine and good for the first year. Then the other s*** dropped. Last August, two gentlemen from the GSA Inspectors office, with blue blazers, badges and side-arms, showed up at our business. They demanded all kinds of do***ents, bills, contract info, etc etc, and told us that we were being investigated for FRAUD!!!! We couldn’t believe it. We’d been in business for alomst 40 years, with never a complaint from anyone, and now the federal goverbnment was accusing us of fraud. They demanded that we produce our GSA schedule, but we never received the actual do***ents from GSA1000. But we felt we were OK, because we could see our schedule right on the GSA.gov website Then the inspectors produced a stack of paper 3 inches thick, and asked if that was our schedule We hadn’t seen it before, other than the top page, which we had signed when we hired GSA1000. As we looked through the do***ent, we saw projects we had never done, employees we had never hired, and invoices we had never sent. GSA1000 had made up all the information, put our signature page on top, and submitted to the government. That’s when I understood how they were able to charge half, ask for barely any data, get it to GSA in a matter of days, and guarantee a schedule. They’ve been using the same data over and over a***n for all their clients. Naturally if the same application worked yes****ay, it would work a***n tomorrow, so they could guarantee their ‘work’. And they were making money charging 50%, because they were only doing 2% of the effort that the other consultants do. GSA cancelled our schedule, and banned us from doing business with the government for 3 years. Needless to say, the ban has destroyed our business, but the other option was to fight the ban, and risk charges of criminal fraud a***nst the government and maybe even JAIL. I’m a 60-year old service disabled Viet Nam veteran. I’m too old to be worrying about lawyers, courts, judges and jail. Now, you may be thinking that I’m just some poor dope, or a disgruntled customer. I’m not disgruntled. I tried to save some money, I didn’t believe what my friends said or what the established and successful consultants told me. I tried to get so****ing for less than I should have, and I got burned. Shame on me. After all these years, I should have known better. GSA1000 will self destruct on their own, they don’t need my help. But you don’t need to make the same mistakes I did. So forget my story if you want, and check the facts for yourself. After doing some checking, you’ll see that GSA1000 goes by many names, including GSA Access Group, GSA Preview, Federal suppliers, countryside publishing, and who knows how many others. They are all in Florida, and are the apparent spin-off of the B2G Ins***ute, Telligenix, Dynatech, Fred Steinberg and Larry Pino, who were closed down by the attorney general in 2009. They are all in the same part of florida, all have the same photos on their websites, and (unlike reputable consultants) none of their sites list their owners, partners, exec team or anything else. These guys have long running arrest records throughout the US for all kinds of get-rich-quick scams. If you don’t want to do all the research, I’ll help you out a little. Real complaint? You just have you lawyer swing into action with "real complaints". Bottom line? You promise a service, get your money, never follow through and then want more money for to complete a job that was never s****ed to begin with. You're a bunch of con artists.
Thanks for the web sites. These people have scamed me out 0f $7,500.00. They can't give me a SIN number that relates to what I do, but still refuse to refund my money.Be ware of these people
I am currently in a battle with GSA Preview. They tols me that they could get my company approved, yes I said it. The told me that they could get me approved. They make you sign a contract that basically states that if you don't you lose your money. My problem is that they have to codes to get me approved. But they still won't give me my money back. Stay away from them. I am contacting legal counsle to see if I can get my money back but it doesn't look good.
Melissa - I have a acronym for you - F.D.L.E. Florida Department of Law Enforcement - not only is this company a scam, but here is a link to current contractors with a current GSA Contract - not necessarily from GSA Preview. If you think you will be found in this telephone book, good luck. And by the way, the paper work is not that long - an attorney will help you for a very nominal fee or the General Services Administration will help you themselves - for free! (http://www.gsaeli***ry.gsa.gov/ElibMain/contractorList.do?contractorListFor=A) This link is on the GSA.gov site and lists alphabetically all companies that have contracts - and what is currently up for bid. I would certainly look there - but don't forget the FDLE - and this time, maybe the state police can do so****ing for you. Can't guarantee you will get your money back, but the satisfaction may be worth it.
This is Matt from GSA Preview and I am very furious at these accusations! I am not a shady sales person trying to trick anybody! I have a lot of integrity and I don't need or want to trick people to get their interest! The bottom line is....my company writes the most GSA Schedules in the country and we market your GSA Schedule which is the key to having success with your Schedule. We helped over 200 companies last year alone!
OK Jose, I will be the first to call you. I will have the call recorded for quality purposes.
Melissa -If this is a REAL complaint, list the real company name and Joe will call and ask for Melissa Steinman at the number we have listed for the company. That's all you have to do, and it will get you a lot ****her than posting comments on this site.
Joe Glennon I have even tried to call you! You never answer the telephone! You need to stop scanning the web daily and s**** walking around and checking the desk of your employees to ensure that your people do the job we paid them to do. Instead of having them do the work that they have already been paid you, you employ ***dreds of people to call small businesses to get more business when you have not even done the work of those who have already paid!!! THAT IS A SCAM!!! We should have not constantly call and send emails daily, multiple times a day to get a response!!! In I see a response from you daily refuting complaints when your clients are hurting and can't get a call back or an email response from any of the people who suppose to be helping us. www.ripoffreports.com also have complaints a***nst you when you do a search for GSA Preview or GSA 1000. You even have a former employee who is willing to testify a***nst your company and businesses practices. It sickened him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You know you are running a scam and if you were not, there would not be so many people complaining about your business practices! You should have more of a conscious! Stop taking small businesses money!!! STOP TAKING OUR MONEY!!!
I do not know what happened in your dealings with GSA Preview but your posts are bordering on harassment and can be easily refuted. GSA Preview does not "approve" GSA Contract Schedules. The government does. GSA Preview provides the service of filling out the paperwork for you, and that includes typical bureaucratic forms which can run to 500 pages. It actually is so****ing you can do for yourself...if you have a year or so to devote to it. In addition, the list of companies found on the website which were awarded GSA Contract Schedules was processed by GSA Preview. That is a fact which can be verified. We can prove our involvement in each approval as the U. S. General Services Administration (GSA) requires a form from the company allowing us to represent them. I would also like to inform you that that there is not ONE SINGLE complaint filed with the BBB that has not been resolved to their satisfaction. Continuing to make false statements, such as you have here, is dishonest and can****entially lead to action a***nst you. If you have a legitimate complaint about your dealings with GSA Preview, please contact me. I am Joe Glennon, the owner of the company. You can call the number listed here – 813-343-7051 – and ask for me. I will attempt to resolve your issues, up to and including the refund of your money if it is warranted. Not incidentally, I have made this offer repeatedly to various posts with identical language and have yet to receive a single call. I think it's pretty obvious who is being dishonest.
You are so mis-informed!!! You think registering for your CCR gets you all the government business you want? You are only scrat****g the service with getting prepared to do government business. I love reading these sites where people like yourself sound off like experts and accuse companies of being scams when you have no idea what these companies do or what their true business track record has been. Then, someone does write so****ing positive about a company, it is dismissed by others because they did not identify themselves in some way.... Ok well, all of you who have so****ing to negative to say,,, why don't you s**** leaving your real name, e-mail address and phone number? There are twenty nine million or more businesses in the USA,,, ***dreds of thousands of companies interested in doing business with the federal government... but there are only about 18,000 plus GSA Schedule contract holders to date ... So, for all of you so called "experts" here, do the math!!! If it was so easy to obtain a GSA schedule contract, then why are so few companies on the GSA today???? One last comment, if you think getting a GSA contract secures you business, wrong a***n !!! You better align yourself with a good firm, one who has marketing and advertising experience, as this is the next step to being successful. If you are not using a firm who has expertise in this area, then you wasted all that time getting a GSA contract. For those of you who have no idea what you are talking about, go waste your time doing so****ing you think you know....

8133437051 is spam. It's marketing spam and a financial scam. Not technically illegal, but worthless. If some guy on the street said he could get you a $500,000 contract if you just gave him $200 first, would you believe him? No, otherwise you have better lucking getting $20 million from a Nigerian prince trying to move money out of the country...
GSA Preview got me. I paid $6500 and it's been almost a year and no GSA Schedule submission. THE LIST OF GSA SCHEDULES APPROVED IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS ON GSA Preview's WEBSITE ARE NOT THE SCHEDULES THEY APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THESE ARE SCHEDULES APPROVED BUT THEY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THEIR APPROVALS!!!!!!!!!!!All my do***ents were submitted to them so when i continued to call each day, no one would ever return my call or reply to my emails. I am now working with the 4th processor and she wants me to s**** ALL OVER a***n with submitting do***ents! They swing you along but never do the work. Ask for AT LEAST 10 references because the first 2 or 3 will be their friends or employees. THE LIST OF GSA SCHEDULES APPROVED IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS ON GSA Preview's WEBSITE ARE NOT THE SCHEDULES THEY APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THESE ARE SCHEDULES APPROVED BUT THEY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THEIR APPROVALS!!!!!!!!!!!Their employees get on sites like these to rebuff any negative comments. I just did a written complaint to Florida's Attorney General at this link: http://myfloridalegal.com and click on "Consumer Complaints" and print the consumer complaint form because the on-line form doesn't work sometimes. Also complete at complaint at: http://www.bbb.org/west-florida/They have many complaints but you must complain to the Attorney General to ensure they began to open up an investigation. We must stop them from scamming other small businesses!!Contact me at [email protected] as I will call them and summarize my issues while you are on the phone just to confirm what I am saying is not a lie. I will even ask for Mary Vickery who has been completely evading my emails and calls!!! DO NOT SPEND ANY MONEY WTIH THIS COMPANY BECAUSE YOU WILL BE SCAMMED AND WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!1
The call originates from Odessa, FL. Today is the 3rd time we were called after I told them the first time to take us off their call list. Bailey's comment below is dead on accurate. Don't fall for this scam. We are already gov't contractors and have plenty of experience. No one needs to spend money on this service, unless you are too lazy to do your homework.
Geez, they are at it a***n. Got another call yes****ay, from Sandy from 813-343-7051 extension 1357, this time they did not mention "GSA Preview", they just say they are from the GSA in order to get your attention. Same deal, pay for what you can do for free yourself.Just a heads up, we get several calls a week from different numbers, all from telemarketers trying to get us to pay for government contracts! DON'T PAY THESE GUYS FOUR FIGURES! Check with your local state college or university, most will have a free program that will help you register with the government through the CCR website for GSA and military contracts, and also other free programs to help you export around the world.

I tried to get a GSA on my own and was denied twice with no reason from the federal government. GSA Preview is not a scam. They had my GSA Schedule in about 120 days and it was worth every penny to my company. We are currently doing over $500,000 dollars worth of government work on our GSA now. Thank you GSA Preview. W***ver is posting these horrible things about this company just know that any angry client can also post anything they want about your company too. I think it's a low **** from cheap businesses.
We were called from this number by Ellen Stanton, extension 1349, of GSA Preview asking for the company president by name.Promised to help get a Federal Government ****id contract for 5 years.Sounds like one of dozens of such scam companies wanting to take your money to help you do so****ing which you can do for free, just go to the CCR federal vendor registration web site and s**** the process. The employees of the scammer often troll forums like this one, and post positive comments to try and fix the reputation of the phone number. We are too cheap to even pay the annual fee for a bid referral service to notify us of bids (these, like BidSync, are legitimate), and we still land plenty of government orders.Buyer beware!

I got a call from this # 813-343-7051 too.
Caller identified himself as calling from "GSA Preview" which, he said, is a dba for "GSA 1000". He said the company isn't related to Federal Suppliers, Inc - a connection I've seen made elsewhere.
Matt called from GSA Preview - fooled my boss, but not me.
Got a call from Rosemary of GSA1000. Wanted me to pay $6500 to get a GSA schedule. Just Google them and you can find out they're a scam.
