Got a call from 813-386-2860 on my husbands cell phone, we did not answer, they called for about 1 week everyday. They finally looked up my husbands information and called his brother saying he has 24hours to call back. When we called the line was busy. can we say SCAM

****n calls from this number its so **** annoying ..they call and some indian guy is askn for my personal information..leave me alone! D&@k!!

this number constantly calls me in class and usually asks for someone named tanja. I can't figure out what they want but i need them to stop calling before i get introuble for them calling during school hours.

Keep receiving daily calls but no one is there when I answer.

They call me everyday and I curse them off and the guy in an indian accent says: PLease Buy My Card Sir? And s****s laughing I cannot stand it. (Pennsylvania)

Bizarre...like you, just googled this number to see who it might be. Got a call from it on 730pm Jan 4 on my cell, no message. I'm in AZ.

Got a call from this number on Dec 26th, but now I return the call and it is just a busy signal.

I just received a call from this # while I was out today and on a fluke typed it into Google and got this page. Thank you guys for sharing this information so that I won't get caught up in any of these scams. I do have one question for all of you...are we all in the same state? (Illinois?)

I just got a call from this number saying he was calling for Richard about where he was suppose to meet me.  When I asked him how he got my number, he said a friend gave it to him.  When I asked who this friend was, he ***g up.

That was possibly the creepiest phone call I have ever had. He had a foreign/middleeastern/african/maybe accent and asked for me. I said I wasn't here. He asked who I was. I said I was her (me) sister. Then he s****ed asking things like how old I was and did I like chocolate. Told me his name was Jeff Johnson a Private Invesgator of the LAPD, but he was in Tampa, FL on vacation. I asked him how he knew my sister (me). He said we were in college together.(I went to an all girl college). I felt like I was on 'To catch a predator'.

We did relinquish ownership of 1 813-386-2860 (so it will not be sold to any other customers of ours).  We have had control of this number for several years, and we are certain that the telemarketing calls did not originate from our system.  This implies that w***ver is making the telemarketing calls is s****ing their caller ID.

Okay, got Gizmo to c****e my number.  Goodbye to this cursed number.  They should permanently remove this number from service as whomever is using it for the **** above needs to be stopped.The next time I ever get a phone number, I'm coming to check it out on this site first.

I signed up for Gizmo Project VOIP and was****igned this telephone number.  I've now received over 150 phone calls from people all over the USA saying that I'm calling them with this number.  I'm trying to get Gizmo to c****e my phone number, but it's taking them forever.  The onslaught of angry phone calls about this **** number continue.

11-30-07 I rec'd a call @ approx. 3:30pm from 813-386-2860 from an unknown caller; the caller did not leave a msg.

The caller would never said anything to me just ****s up every time I answer, I've called the # back and repeatedly get sent to voice mail. I've even left the person(s) a message to get back with, and that I was calling from a law firm.

Someone from the number called for my husband about a credit card.  When he told the representative that he wasn't interested in the card, the rep said "F#@$ you, you****H&%@,"  and ***g up

if they call u just don't answer it or tell the caller that you are reporting them to the appropriate state and federal agencies and then **** up.i suspect that this is an attempt at getting your personal information to use it for fraudulent activities (maybe iden***y theft as well). just report them to your local agencies.

calls and says nothing- never answers if you call it back.Dumb a**.
