Asking to call back for Medicare updates to my account. Said they are from Georgia. Wrong name given

They are a licensed agent and want to inform me about my prime benefits. (I could also hear, very clearly other ppl in the background. It sounded very much like a call center).

The comments on here about this number being legit and not a scam are 100 percent the scammers leaving those comments. I fact checked the number they called me on and the number they gave me to call with my actual insurance company and they said neither number is affiliated with us it's a scam.

claiming to be from my prescription medicine carrier

This was a callback number given by someone who left VM on my cellphone from my area code, trying to reach my mother's name in a different state. Just claimed to be an "agent" and that my "plan benefits" were updated with no specifics. Probably just spam with a cold-call to known elders to go to their insurance company whoever they are

They said they were from wellpoint my medicaid provider, and at first i was very suspicious but listened to them and eventually they got my medicare benefits updated . worked out in the end

I thought it was a scam after I searched up the number, but the young lady verified my information, I ended up getting new United healthcare cards and my grocery benefit increased. They called me at first and i was a bit skeptical, a lot of scammers and what not. They called me in september and i got my new Humana card and im paying less than i got before.

Said he was an licensed agent to look at medicare plans. Will not return my calls and my husband is in need of PT. PT called and said his policy set to term on 30th of this month. ALL BECAUSE OF MASON!!!!! I want this moved up the ladder, I told my husband it had to be a scam NOW he won't call us back!!!!

This caller is not a scammer. It's an independent health insurance company. Has helped me and my family and friends with medicare and got me the ***istance I needed!

thought it was a scam, but they confirmed my information. Ended updating my coverage and did receive mail with new cards that work! Called insurance and they verified the cards.

I contacted Wellcare directly, they said it was for an Advantage Plan which I do not have. I do have Wellcare pharmacy coverage.

There were major changes to my wife's Anthem account. Her account was closed following her death.

Key give away is that I no longer have Anthem insurance. In addition he was calling from (808) 556-7118 which is a Hawai'i area code but the call back number he left was (813) 699-7002.

Said there have been major changes in local Medicare plans and they need to speak to me as soon as possible. This is the third call with this return number. One was Anthem, one was Blue Cross Blue Shield, one said United Healthcare.

"Great changes in the plans this year. Important that we connect this month to go over the mandatory supplemental benefits." The call said it was from Webster City, IA, but a phone number search showed it was from Riverview, FL. Pretty sure it is a scam.

Stated there has been some changes to her Medicare plan in our area and to call him back asap to discuss the changes.
