Xentel. Fraud fundraiser

Caller continues to call, then ****s up when realizes this is a University phone number.

Answered and no response.  Heard background noise like a ma****e running in the distance.

Answered and could barely hear someone on the other end.  they kept saying*****o,*****o, so I ***g up.

This number showed up on my caller ID as Pleasantville PA too.  It is more than likely a third party fund raiser - which means they solicit donations for organizations and keep part of the money for themselves.  Totally legal as long as a very small portion goes to the charity or organization they are soliciting for...but they generally get rich doing so.  The third part fund raiser that I met in VA (knew this guy's neighbor) was a millionaire, living in a multi million dollar home.  BEWARE of these guys!  Always ask "Are you a third party fund raiser" before you donate - otherwise, you are just giving your hard earned money to someone getting rich from it.

I checked their website and since it is listed as an ".org" website that means "non-profit" and thus not bound by the DO NOT CALL list. They apparently seek funds to offset educational costs for officers and help them with supplimental life insurance and scholarships for future narc officers. They limit membership to only officers of the law and Judicial system employees only and do not serve the public at large. You would think that there should be no need to ask the public for money, but they do. If they cannot get their money from Harrisburg, you shouldn't need to give it to them either. They are already paid for by your tax dollars.

Hope I didn't just f myself by picking up.  Showed up as Pleasantville, PA--thought it might be a friend.  GD it.

No one said anything and I'm on the no call list I want them reported to the federal government.

I get calls every weekend from this number.  The caller ID says 'Pleasantville."  I never pick up and there is never a message.  Can't so****ing be done about these calls?  I gave a donation to the local police department once and now I get all of these calls.  I am guessing that they have shared my private, unlisted phone number somehow.

They are simple riduclous. My husband gave them a one donation only many years ago; he is now deceased and the call came a***n.!! How insensitive! Even the do not call list doesn't work with them..Are they Narc agents?? Are they actually doing so****ing with these donations??I don't want anymore calls from these people. Do your job and stop calling people..

I got a call from this number and they asked for my mother. On the Caller ID it said, "Local Call." I honestly s****ed freaking out.  I did not know who it was so I ***g up. If they call a***n I will not answer.

Called it back.  Got the Pennsylvania Narcotics Officers****ociation and a pre-recorded message saying it's their fundraiser, they are registered with the state and they will call back.  Said to call 800-891-5895 if there are any questions.

Local Call on callerid.  ****up on answer though.

The first time, I answered it, the person asked for "Lori" and when I told her there is no Lori here, she ***g up.  Answered another call from that number. This time the caller said she was from some****ociation asking for donations.Now caller ****s up upon answering and also doesn't leave messages.keeps calling, now several times. annoyed.

"**** up" call.  No one responds to my "Hello."  Caller ****s up.

LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!  i am sick of these calls from 9am to 9pm  all day this is nuts!!!!  they do not talk on the answer ma****e they want to be anases about it they ask for me and i answer  they **** uplike they were scared of getting caught... i reverse search on this call and it says pleasentville , pa that is near erie pa .i do not know what they want but leave me alone i am not interested acting like *****s and takeing time out of my day for what  nothing leave me alone

I got a phone call at 8:59 this morning. Caller ID displayed "Local Call". I didn't pick it up, went to answering ma****e and then ***g up.

caller id says "local call"i think it's a scammer trying to piggy back on our phone line.  no longer answer this number

Several calls from this number, no message, I don't pick up if I don't know who it is.

Multiple calls, I ignore them, they won't stop.
