I called *#21# then *#62# to see if my husband's phone was tapped and his calls are being forwarded to this 8162250010 number. I believe it's the police because he is being investigated.

This is a password stealer. It asks for your voice mail password. If you leave your password it knows the password for your voicemail. If you give them your password they have access to your voicemail...many people use the same pin for access to banks, offices, pagers, automated door key entry, building security... hacker has your pin which of course you reuse for all you PIN proteced systems.

This number is a at&t universal voicemail number they use when u call in to check your voicemail mail. When a cell phone calls inthey have a program that recognizes each person's phone. Then the program sends you to your personal voicemail box. Sure you can call your own number and get it, but that cost them airtime. By them only having one number everyone uses, they save a lot of money. If you can only imagine how many times a day people check their voicemail.... that's a lot of scratch! I figured out all this a few momths ago when my voicemail quit working, and I had to call into AT&T.

well I know what that number is.... is your phone saying call forward on screen whenever u call certain people and even when u shut off your call forwarding? well if so you are probably one of people who are being wiretapped by police or a hacker etc and it probably not a legel tap on your phone....if u cant access ur voicemail wit ur pin code even after u call at&t its probably tapped by a source who does not have a warrant to do so

No message left. When I tried to this number the number looped-back-in to my phone and went automatically to call my Voice Mail, (how I got the number originally) and gave me options as to what I can do to recall my voicemail messages. Very, very interesting!!

I received a voice mail from this number on 4-15-09. Some guy screamed, "Go to hell!" then hung up. I tried to call the number back, but it's a dead end.

This number 8162250100 is somehow entered in my A707 phone from ATT asmy VOICE SERVER. I called the munber but got an answering machine. I have NO idea how this number got into my phone and why it is listed as voice server.
