This is a phone number that was used the week of 11/29 by scammers purporting to represent Best Buy Geek Squad with the 'pay for computer security protection contract' scam. they have since abandoned this number, but represent themselves as Geek Squad from Best Buy. I was advised that Best Buy is aware of this issue, but the scammers are off-s**** and there is little to nothing that the local authorities can do. Just be aware that anybody contacting you claiming to be Best Buy, that comes from an email that is not from a Best Bur domain, is bofus. They will claim that they have withdrawn funds from your account, but they have not, they are trying to get you to call them so they can drill into your IP address and get sensitive data. Best way to protect yourself is to delet it and gnore it, they do not have the information they need to steal your money unless you call them back and try to rationalize with them
