Let's fax these people back. If they get thru, we may get a response, it's worth a try. It worked for me once before. But a note to those who can't block the number...the "do not call" regulations do not apply to businesses, the regs are for residential numbers.

This number has called several times.  Only a fax tone can be heard -- never a voice.

One thing I just did to eradicate this problem is I went into my block call list and voilà.  Problem solved!

I keep getting calls from here and no one is on there!!  who are these people??

I've been getting the calls as well, so today I blocked all calls to my 800 numbers from the area codes: 817, 956 and 940 -- this should end the problem.

Now I've gotten a few of these calls from a 817, that is in Tx. I think. The last four numbers are different than above, 237-6045. This number calls my 866 toll free number that is forwarded to my cell phone. Besides the cost, it is a wast of my time. Can the phone company or the police look into this matter? Their is a reverse number lookup book to see who ownes the number. Can someone who has access to such a book help us out. Thanks

I've gotten several of these "fax" calls on my toll-free also.The Protege Services company listed below is in North Carolina. They are not responsible for these calls but they're mad about them and trying to get the situation rectified.W***ver it is in the 817

I like everyone else receives fax calls on my 866 number from Protege Svcs.  I also receive the same fax call from 940-566-5108 Alternative Res. Some calls even come VERY early in the morning.  I am beyond tired of this as it has been going on for months. How do we stop it!?!

Has anyone actually SEEN what they are trying to FAX us???  It seems if one of us let the fax go through to a ma****e, it might giva a clue as to who's behind this.

To all concerned parties:Please be advised that our company located in North Carolina is not now, nor ever has been the initiator of any automated fax phone calls to any outside parties.  Please remember that while the internet can provide very useful information, it can also be misleading as well.  I asure you that we are not involved in this situation.  For more than 25 years, we have run a reputable and professional construction labor company. Since we are receiving so many complaints by phone and/or fax about a matter that is not our doing, we have****igned our corporate attorney the task of looking into the matter on our behalf. We sincerely hope this situation gets cleared up soon for everyone's benefit.

Several calls to my 800 number.

They are calling me also on my 800 number and it's my nickle that I'm paying!Anyone having any luck on getting them to stop calling?They are driving me nuts!!!

Calls almost daily from this and other numbers listed as Protege Svcs on Caller ID.... All play two DTMF tones and then a fax squeal.  I am also getting called on my 800 Number.  This is getting ridiculous.  Also listed as Protege SVCS from Texas.  I am wondering if others who have a 800 # through a server are receiving this or are they calling residences without 800 numbers.  I am trying to find a correllation.

Got call today from 817-237-8319, Protege Services.  Returned call, data line.  Annoying.

I keep receiving multiple phone calls every day and night from this phone number. It is obviously trying to send me a facsimile. It's irritating and won't go away. How do I get rid of it???

This number has called our business and never leaves a message. You cannot call it back. The phone company is investigating. The number is listed to a company called Protege Services but it does not exist.
