Thanks to all of you here. Whenever I get a call on my cell that I dont know who it is & I suspect its some ****** or telemarketer. I have the habit now of saving the unwanted callers number under a type of alphanumeric system on my phone so when that number calls a***n its marked on my cell phone screen S****ing with a U or Unk etc. So I know not to answer it.I think in the future the telemarketers will double their income by selling the phone numbers they use to people who dont want to answer it as well as those they want to answer it. Since the number of people not wanting to answer it will probably always be less. This makes good bussiness sense. However,In thanks for you all telling me your complaint about the above unwanted call. Unknown number called home on Dec 22, 2008 @ 4:19PM. Not sure if people know this but those people like myself that signed up on the do not call list in Ca***a are getting their number sold to real and fake telemarketers. All the person has to do is go to the do not call site claim that their a telemarketer and they can get a list for $40. The do not call list people say that they have to provide the list to telemarketers so they know who they're not supposed to call. Another way they can get around the Ca***ian law is to get the list and get someone outside of Ca***ian jurisdiction to call or they can get the list from outside Ca***a and our law is worthless. What happened to 'Due Diligence' on the part of the people that are supposed to be facilitating the do not call list?

It's bad enough that these ****s call your personal cell phone and run up your bill to pay for their incoming spam call (expired car warranty scam), but this one (just one of many, I might add) was on my employer's company cell phone. How can we get these A*&%$#@s to stop doing this?!?

Car Scam!  **** up straight away cos it's v dodgy.  I googled the number first and got a phone book listing for Cindy Davis in Texas.  Don't know anyone in Texas so I called it back....Bad News.  Don't even answer, these calls are poison!  If it's the same one that went round this time last year, it ****ed my phone and ruined everything.  Data gone et al!

My household receives calls on our cell phones regularly from this number. It is a recorded message about a car warranty, as noted in the other comments on this site. The "Do NOt Call List" does not seem to deter them.

This number calls all of the lines on our business phone several times a day - many times we answer and they just **** up without saying anything, other times it is a recording stating that it is the "3rd and final notice" that our car warranty is about to expire.  These people call all of the cell phones in my family as well as my home phone and all of those numbers are on the "Do Not Call" list.  If you press 1 to get through to someone and ask them to remove your number, they just **** up on you - is there anything that we can do to stop this harrassment????

this is literally about the tenth time i've gotten one of these calls. is this a scam or so****ing? i answered the first time they ever called me and didn't know what they were talking about. i'm only eighteen if that matters. guess i got a new number to put on my cell phone's reject list.

This is the same car warranty scam that comes in from all kinds of different numbers; don't bother trying to call them back, they're always "no longer in service."  I too have pressed 1 to talk to them, when they come on they just say, "Warranty Service, what's your car make & model?"  When I ask for their name, they **** up on me.  Someone needs to find these ******s and put them out of business, since they are obviously breaking the law (by calling Do Not Call numbers and cell phones).
