I got phone call from this number today, and believed they are from citibank, so gave them my address, and they want my credit card and bank statement to help approval of my new credit card. What is going to happen after I gave them my address?? Who can tell me?

Someone calls me incessantly including Sundays and holidays aerly by the mornings. Most of the times they do not leave any message but twice a message was left that said to call Citi immediately or face consequences. I have no idea what the calls are for. I am up to date on all of my debts and do not have an account with any company called Citi. I am also on the "Do not call" lists. This is definetly harrassment. I will continue to report this to other sources as well. I am surprised that this is still going on.I am an active FBI agent,I will investigate them.

We bought our home in June 2009. Every month since then, we get prior owner's bills (even though we return them) and phone calls, asking for former owner. Now obviously they looked up our phone number (which we had at our previous residence, in neighboring town), to call us. Did they not see new owners listed with the residence? Even had repo guy show up for "their" car. They also keep asking us where "they" are? Like I have a clue? Getting harassed for former owners- nice.

Called our number, heard our recording and ***g up...checked reverse lookup and found it is CitiBank...don­'t deal with them at all.

Called my office today and asked to speak to me.  I said, "Speaking, how may I help you?"  and the foreign-voiced male ***g up on me.  What the heck?  Calls at home and gets the answering ma****e there.  Go figure.

got calls from 817-490-6499 daily. I checked the complaint so I din't bother to answer. Yes****ay I got a new cell phone. It came already activated and I didn't even know my new number. YES you got it. the **** fake Citi Auto Loan called me on my new phone. this phone don't have "block" option. So I save the number and give it a name "SCAMMER-1". That way I can press "ignore" quickly before it leave ****** message. By the way, the scammers do read this site and pretend to give info. yea, another phone number to confirm that you are some way connect with Citybank. So they will work you even harder. Use your good judgement, my friends. and good luck.

Well this 8174906499 number has been calling me for about two weeks now, and I have told them several times to stop calling me but they won't. When I ask who it is they just **** up. They call at rediculous hours too. Anywhere from 1 in the morning forward. They don't leave messages and when you call them back there's an automated voice telling you the number isn't in service or whatever. I'm a freaking teenager, what the heck would they want with me?! I don't have any accounts with anyone yet. Geez.

Same as above. I do not know who they are, but they will not stop calling. Have accounts with Citi, but they are all up to date and they will not leave a message with my wife who holds the accounts with me.

it seems as if they have a acsess to all the records ,they keep c****ing their *****ges and they understand north Indian language.

So****ing is definitely fishy. I do have a CITIFINANCIAL AUTO LOAN. It comes straigh out of my back account, so occasionally there are some mishaps, but I just got my mail and it said the payment was taken out without a hitch, Im not due until the 27th and today is the 13th, so I have no idea whats up. They do not leave messages. Bill collectors usually do, so I have no idea whats going on ???!?!?!?!?!

This is a collection call. It may be for citi student, car, or credit cards. They called me because a dear friend of mine who recently passed on used me as a reference.They were trying to locate her. I told them good luck, she is in a better place where you don't need to owe people for small favors.He was obviously in India somewhere and I don't think he understood what I ment. So I told him to figure it out, and ***g up.

This number call at all hours every day - you try to call back and after dialing the number the following automated message comes on " this is a non working number".  They should either get a number which you can call back, leave a message and provide valid number, or stop calling.  DO NOT have any business with CITI if that is who it is for - or is it a consultant firm (overseas) for multiple companies who are confused and do not speak Englis? "

This number calls my house past 9pm at night (I have small children) and at work several times a day. When I try to call back I only get a beeping sound. They say they are from Citi Financial.

I have rec'd several calls from this number, today I rec'd a text saying they got my digits from a friend and wants me to go to an online dating thing. I do have a loan with citifinancial auto but they call from a differenct number. This was the first text, usually call and don't say anything when I answer, never leave a message. This is harrassment!

This caller called both my cell and work number and said they were with Citi Student Loans and wanted to verify information.  It seems a little fishy to me.

Another site says it is Citi Finance. I have an account with them but it's u to date so i'm not sure why they would call me. I tried to call the number back but the system told me it was not a working number. ( hide my number)

calling my buisness cell asking information about someone other than myself

Someone with a thick accent keeps calling my 82 year old Mother on her cell. She lives in Wisconsin.  Her cell is registered to my brother whom lives in Charlotte. She can't understand what they are saying, alls she is able to grasp is the word, "India."

the lady that called from this number today had an extremely heavy accent. she's really rude and wouldn't tell me what it's about. she kept asking for personal information and then when i asked her what all this was for, she said so****ing about citi, and i acted like i didn't hear her, and asked a***n and she said this is so and so. and i said reguarding... and she said a personal matter and i said well if i am alexis why can't you tell me the personal matter. so we fought for about ten minutes and finally she said CitiFinanical. i don't have ANYTHING that has to do with citifiniancial at all. so how they got my number i'll never know. ****** idiots.

If you talk to these ****s, please find out who they are, and post it CITIFANCIAL, is a big company, but to list a non working number they can bite me I'll never answer.

It is Citifinancial,and it is supposed to be a automatic call,when your payment is late.I just ignore them.If you are 2 days late,they will s**** calling.Idiots...

This number called my cell. When I looked it up online it said citi financial. Tried to call back but per recording its a non working number. Found another number for citi financial, called and reported how rude they were and I had no business with them! I went from getting about 10 calls a day to none!

i just got a call from this number and it said it's not a working number when i called back.  i'm sure it's either a scam or a telemarketer trying to work the system.  does anyone else have a citifinancial account on here?  possibly that's what it is about... i didn't answer and don't answer numbers i don't know for this reason.

Got a call from this number a little while ago, they were asking for my brother. I told them they had the wrong number and ***g up. They were calling my cell phone and we have NEVER been on the same cell phone account. Is this place a legit collection agency? Or a scam? Either way, hopefully they lose my number. If they were able to find my number, then they can go ahead and find his real number.  UGH.

This number has called me for the past two das today it was a man with a deep voice yes****ay no one responded.... I tried to call back and all I get is a busy signal.

I received numerous calls from this number.  When I asked who they were, they give me only their first name not a company.  I ***g up.  They keep calling.

I received a call from someone at this number. He was hard to understand and extremely rude. At first he said he was from Citi Card and that he needed my address. When I asked what this was all about he just asked for my address a***n so I ***g up. Ten seconds later he called a***n only this time claiming he was from another company. I asked him a***n what this is about and he siad that he just told me and that I need to answer his questions right now. I ***g up a***n and haven't heard back since. People like that should be thrown into prison.

Wife had a call from this number to her cell a few minutes ago. Because of nuisances and scams like this, we screen calls and do not answer ones we don't recognize. (If it's important enough, they'll leave a voice mail!) Have filed a complaint with the FTC, as our phone numbers were registered on Do Not Call within 24 hrs of obtaining cell service 4 1/2 years ago.

constant calls for someone who used to have my number. i have asked them repeatedly to take my number off their list but they continue to call. They are wasting my minutes. Next time they call I'm going to **** a whistle in their ears.
