UPDATE: Got another call from this # and, when I called them back, got a better representative this time. Apparently they are a loan agency and they were using *VERY* old phone data in calling me. After giving them my phone number (which they had called me on) I verified that I was *not* the party in question and they *claimed* to remove my number from their calling list.
Called and left a message but didn't state any information, just to return the call. Which I didn't. Su****ious if you ask me...
Called me with no prior contact and when I called back the first thing they asked for was my SSN. *Very* sketch.
When called by landline I was told that it is a company that does car financing / refinancing. It calls numbers of people who previously used AmeriCredit for auto loans.
