Do what I do... don't answer your phone unless you recognize the number. My mantra is, if it's important, they'll leave a message. And now that the phony auto warranty bastards have been busted, there won't be too many marketers that do leave a message (except for the really dumb ones). So, if they didn't or don't leave a message, then obviously it's not important! Don't hassle it and get on with your day/week/month/year/life.
I have told these people not to call me any more BUT they continue morning, noon and night
As of Oct 17, 2008 the number is from Silverleaf Resorts. Whoever answers says that Matt Bailey put your name on a list, as if you are supposed to know who he is or he knows you. Who is Matt? I have no idea! If I answer my business phone, which is also my cell, with my business name, there is also a hang up. ARRGGGHH!!!!! So I called the number back and waited for someone to answer. I said nothing and I wrote down some names. After a few weeks of keeping a log, I called back and told them that I had been getting hang ups from this number. They went into their sales schpiel, I interrupt them. I did it twice today. I'll probably be suing before long.
