Received text. says from Omniamerican. Said my debit card was about to be deactivated. I called, it was a recorded voice, asked for card number, expiration date and PIN NUMBER!!!! Omni's website alerted me that this is indeed a scam, they never text asking for this info. Do NOT respond to this number.

Yeah, so I tried calling the "24 hour card services" number from work. First of all, I think it may not actually be local--maybe one of those that redirects you elsewhere, because when I call '817' numbers from work they go straight through. However for this one I had to enter the account code for a long distance call. Second, a person didn't answer. Just a brief recording claiming to be OmniAmerican, and then telling you to enter your debit card number. Obviously a phishing scam.

Same as everyone else. Don't have an OmniAmerican card. Plus, I highly doubt OmniAmerican's 24 hour contact number s****s with '817'.
