Claimed to be Wells Fargo with an important notification, but I did not text back.
I got a text message to call this number because of a Bank Of America Notification. I called and it said my BOA debit card was deactivated because of a security breach and to continue to reactivate it. I do not nor have I ever used Bank of America for anything... what a scam!
It is a scam. They would never ask for this info in this manner. Please **** up!
got it too. don't have account there so knew it was scam
Received a text stating it was from Bank of America Telebank. Called the number in the text and got a recording stating my debit card had been cancelled due to a security breech. It then asked me to press one to reactivate and enter my 16 digit account number at which point I ***g up. I do not have a debit card or a bank account through BOA. Checked online for my BOA credit card and there are no apparent fraudulent charges and no indication that BOA has been trying to contact me. This has to be a scam.
