This is definitely scam. I checked them using false information. If you fallow their request they will ask you to give them 16 digits of your card, 4 last digits of SSC, and than (be prepared to laugh) they ask to input debit card PIN number. Never trust such guys. Banks don't send such messages.
Same txt messages on my cell: HSBCMasterCardLimited. Call : 817 898 4783 SPAM Is there a way to report it?
5 text messages, HSBC bank telling me there's a problem with my card. Also gives number 888-228-5884. Really, really annoying.
I'm having the same issue - I've received at least 4 texts about an HSBC card that I don't have. When I called the number it asked me to enter the card number, so I figured it was a scam. A real credit card company would not ask for the full number - only the last four digits and your zip code or so****ing like that. Anyone know how to report this?
I got a text message that HSBCMasterCardLimited. Call : 817 898 4783. I do not have any HSBC card and I call them. They ask me to enter the card number . So I enter the card number - some card number 1234 5678 9123 4567. It says it is invalid.
I have a few HSBC accounts but am sure this is scam. I called back and tried to tell them stop sending me text message or I will report to police. Unfortunately it is automated messaging system just trapping your account info. I have spoken to Tmobile to see if they can help locate the source.
I received 4 text masages and they introduce themself as HSBC bank. I dont have any accounts with them
