About 3 weeks ago, I too began receiving calls from this number.  They were calling several times an hour and at strange times.  When I called the number back, I got a recording saying they were verifying my number.  I have Verizon wireless so I called them today and they put a block on my phone for that number at no charge.

I got a call from 818-299-9144 and I was busy enjoying myself at the time.

How do they get a person cell number. They cell phone comapny has to sell them. I never answer any call with a 800 number. Make them stop. Don't ever answer. Once you do they got you and others will call.

Am getting so many telemarketing calls to my cell phone that I am now NOT ANSWERING calls unless I recognize the incoming #. I do not give out my cell # to anyone other than friends, relatives & medical providers. This has become very annoying. When they are told that I DID NOT request information, they say "yes you did, we have your request right here". I am thinking about c****ing my #, but how will this help since somehow these creeps are getting people's numbers without their permission.

They are calling my cell phone. I don't know how they got my #, but this is very annoying!

I receive a call from this number several times a week. I never pick up and they never leave a message. It's always just before 9AM EST, so it's before 6AM PST. It's rediculous.

they call literally EVERY 5 minutes...and won't stop!!!!

Called BOTH of my cell phone numbers within seconds of each call.

I do not answer calls from area codes I do not know and the above complaints about the CONTINUAL calls 'rings' true! Thanks for this service - I thought it was to do with telemarketers and now I know

Recorded call saying they were verying phone number for so****ing to do with insurance and "sorry for the inconvenience". *69 gave me the caller's phone number.
