Received a text saying my Geek Squad protection would be renewed today for $299.99. Call 1 818-334-2909 to cancel. I called and he said I would have to go on my computer to cancel. I said I would not do that and he ***g up.

I received this number as a call back number to cancel a Geek Squad support plan charge for $299.99. The text message linked to this phone number was from Texas. I confirmed with Best Buy that this type of contact is not included in their protocols. This is obviously an attempt to extricate money from me.
