One Call Medical, which is the company this number belongs to, is a real company. They are a call center, so they aren't going to be located in the state you live in unless you live in California. Doctors' offices, especially the large ones, will have call centers make and/or confirm their appointments. Legally, because of HIPAA compliance they can't give you information unless you prove you're who they are looking for. If you know you don't have any appointments or aren't waiting for one just tell them that. Don't give your info to anyone if you don't feel comfortable.

Yes, I'm getting the same call on my cell phone DAILY though.  Exactly the same message asking for my DOB, etc.

This person called saying they need to set up a "diagnostic" test ordered by my doctor, and need my date of birth to continue the call.  I asked for more information and they said they wouldn't be able to tell me until I gave them more information, and asked for my date of birth a***n.I have no medical insurance at this time, hence, no doctor to order a test.This is the second time in a month that they have called.When I googled the company, it says they are an insurance sales company.
