Scams on Craiglist ads. Text messages to "hold" the item and says he/she will pay extra if item is held.

What a loser! I was dumb enough to believe "Steve" (as I was selling so****ing expensive on Craigslist) so I gave information. That's alright though because as soon as the information comes (along with a cashiers check plus forty dollars more for holding his item), I'll be going directly to the police.

Scam....

Same as comments below. Scammer!!!!!!!!!! Geez, don't know why people choose to live their lives doing shady things to make this world even more chaotic.

Thanks for the posts. I just received a text from this number wanting my Full Name and address and adding $40 on top of my price to hold the item.

This text came in response to my ad on Craigslist. Asked for my info to send me a check with an extra money for holding my items. Its an obvious scam and DO NOT SEND THEM ANY INFO.

Sounds like Scammer!! Yes I did get this text.

Got a text messaging responding to my craigslist ad. Clearly a scam. Don't reply. They told me they would give me extra money and send me a money order.
