This annoying company apparently calls on behalf of charitable organizations. I have the number blocked, but it still rings once which is obnoxious when they typically call between 6-8 times a day. I don't know why DNC exempts companies such as this one. I'm ready to just disconnect my land line and be done with it.

S****ed getting calls from this number several days ago.  No message is left.  I am now going to s**** using the strategy of answering the call but not speaking.  I keep them on the line until they **** up.  That was 1m11s this morning.  They can hear whatever is going on and waste their money and time on the call.   It has stopped some of these kinds of harrassing calls in the past.

It's beyond comprehension that any legitimate non-profit organization would contract with telemarketing firms such as this. I'm not sure which organization they were representing with today's call, but on their website is a list of non-profit clients. I've supported several of them in the past, and they are now on my blacklist. When I have time, I'll contact each organization, express my dissatisfaction, and inform them that I won't support any organization that uses telemarketing to raise money.

have gotten about a dozen calls from this number over the past week.  I never answer the call and there is never a message left.  I want it to stop.

Just today, beginning at 9:11 a.m., I have received 12 phone calls. They are coming about every 5 minutes. They are blocked but the phone still rings. Can't wait for the rest of the day!

Caller ID says Harris Direct. They don't leave a message when the answering ma****e comes on. They call at least 3 times a day, every day, 7 days a week, and all hours, even after 9 PM. To say the least, extremely annoying people. We are also on the "do not call" list. We do not answer telemarketing calls, nor any 800 numbers.

I get a call from this number at least once a day. I did find that it is a charity for doctors without borders. I would not donate to someone calling at least once a day for money. I understand that it may be a good cause but I have no idea who they are and if they are legal. If I want to donate my hard earned money it will go to local ones not abroad.

Called after 6pm, and used my name in a very derogatory way. When I asked if this was a recorded message, she stated it wasn't then dead silence. I ***g up after several minutes.

Receive calls on a daily basis. Today received two calls within 40 minutes of each other. I do not answer these calls. I did once but they wanted to speak to my husband and ***g up on me. My husband spoke with them once and asked them to stop calling. I believe they said they represented the World Wildlife fund.

I am receiving calls from Harris Marketing 7 days a week, multiple times a day. Often ***ody picks up, but sometimes I can hear boiler room background sounds. They never leave a message, but the 4 or more calls a day tie up my home office phone. This is a real big nuisance and I want them to go away.

The annoying pause...I said "hello" twice...then the laughter of a woman...then she asked for my husband by his first name only. When I said he wasn't here and could I take a message, she just ***g up on me. Creeped me out.  Looked up the number on the internet and found this site. After infinite number of calls with no message at all hours, I filed complaint with Better Business Bureau -- forget donotcall registry. Have blocked calls on home phone, now they call every 30 minutes, day and night, and one ring is still annoying. They have not responded to BBB and I don't expect them to -- though the more who file, the better. This is criminal.

It's Harris Direct calling on behalf of a non profit organisation you've supported in the past - the recorded message you get if you call back says that by leaving your number you'll be taken off their list. Annoying that they won't say who they are.

Just found an even better way of coming down on these predatory people:  lodge a formal complaint with their Better Business Bureau:  http://www.la.bbb.org/Business-Report/Harris-Marketing-Group-13018660 .  "file a complaint" link is on the left toward the top of the list.  If you're not confident the FTC will do anything to them (donotcall.gov), then bring the BBB down on them!

Just found this on the Internet. They advertise in the PennySaver and pay a whopping $8 per hour for mature, articulate (etc.) individuals. That's minimum wage! The ad claims that they're based in Woodland Hills, CA, but others have said Canoga Park or Thousand Oaks. Someone from this number has called my cell phone approximately 6-7 times. Twice just today.

The caller ID window says "Harris Direct", but I believe it is a s****ed number of some kind and whenever they call, they try to lock into my phone line. Since I have people hacking into my computer, I believe that these people are part of it since I have **** on my computer every time that number calls.
