This appears to be a mediation group with out dated mortgage information

They have been calling me for a while as well.  I finally called them back today, pressed 2 and got someone immediately.  A man answered the phone, I told him to take me off their call lists.  He said he could help me with that.  He supposedly did it.  We will see if they end of calling me a***n.

Most people that this company is calling do not have a mortgage ..

I just received a call from from  818-736-0065 out of Cal.  The company name is called" mortgage mediation group". Holy&@# they were looking for my 93 year old aunt, my aunt who has never owned a home, never will own a home and has never had a mortgage in her her lifetime! .....But wait there 's more, the male on the other end wanted my personal information, just to remove her information, Are ya kidding me. Do not give out any information to this company.. SCAM scabs...

they called and don't leave a message so i called back and it said i can remove my name from the list hope that it works i am on the do not call list but they somehow must be exept

Who is this and why do they keep calling.  No message. My number is unlisted.

I got the call at my office today.  They are a mortgage mediation group.  I doubt that a school (where i work) has a mortgage.  I waited until the end and pressed "2" to be removed from the list.  We'll see what happens.

And I don't even HAVE a mortgage!

This is a TELEMARKETING SCAM!! They act like they want to help you Save Your Home?? "MEDIATION GROUP"?? They got my number from somewhere and are preying on people already in duress?? Total S*** OF THE EARTH!! Idiot on phone wouldn't take my number off list and could have cared less...SHAME! Do NOT Talk to these s***bags!!

They called and left no message. When called back (from several different numbers) a message was played -"Thank you for calling the Mediation Group. Our records show you are past due on your mortgage payment. Press 1 to speak to a representative, press 2 to remove your number from our list..."None of the numbers I returned the call from are tied to any mortgage, much less a delinquent one. Total phishing type scam!

That what the electronic message said when i called back. I called from an untracable internet phone sevice. I pressed 1 also but didn't wait the whole time. I'm not late either but they still called. Thanks For the info!

@Dutch: We are most definitely NOT late on our mortgage!  They don't just call people who are late on their mortgage.  When the guy answered, he asked *me* what I wanted.  In other words, he wasn't sure if the call was about mortgages or what.  Sounds like a scam for more than just mortgage refis.And I am STILL on hold, almost 15 minutes.  I'm just wondering how long this could go on.

I got a call from 818-736-0065.  The recorded message said the company name is Mediation Group.  I pushed 1 to speak to a representative to let them know I am registered with the National Do Not Call Registry, and to ask to be removed from their calling list.  The guy put me on hold!  I am still on hold now for 10 minutes!!!I'm s****ing to wonder if the National Do Not Call registry is a phishing scam.  I've been registered for over 2 years.  Filing complaints with them seems to do nothing.

Mediation Group was what they called themselves.

It is a "morgage modification" company. If you are late on your morgage they must gat and use that info to sell their services. They don't tell you the name of the company, just what they do. Ref.818-736-0065

Called my cell phone even though I am on the do not call lis, and I have registered more then once...URGH!!

ever since I made my phone# published I have been getting a lot of calls from all different area codes. PLEASE STOP CALLING! I am on the do not call list
