I am interested in helping you stop these idiots in their tracks. i have some voicemails on my phone that can help you as well with this matter and reported them to the FBI and FTC. here is my email in the meantime [email protected] and will be more than happy to help in anyway I can.
Hello,I had this harassing individual also call me, left 2 voice mails within one hour.PLEASE NOTE: They are now using 2 phone numbers and I will write them out below:First they call on: 7818392845 (or) 781-839-2845 and if you dont answer, they go to their second line:8188517924 (or) 818-851-7924Basically if you answer, they will threaten you with supposed legal action for a loan past due which you never even may have requested to begin with. Since I only received voicemails and did not talk, I was able to replay both voicemails and noted a huge similarity in the mans tone and what he was saying. Sure enough it was scripted, and very poorly at that.I knew instantly this was a scam artist, i do work "on the side" as a PI and i'll tell you right away, one of their big tricks is often threatening somebody with sudden legal action and as soon as i heard "CALL ME BACK RIGHT THIS SECOND, THIS IS EXTREME[LY] TIME SENSITIVE, IF YOU DON'T CALL BACK YOU WILL BE REGRETTING IT HIGHLY, 'CALL ME OR ELSE'"So when I got the second voicemail, I knew they were full of ****. I WILL HOWEVER BE CALLING THEM BACK in about 20 minutes from now. Of course, the call will be recorded and I would like to make it known to ANYONE who is having issues with this scam artist, that if ever these people are caught, I am in possession of evidence concerning the nature of their scam, and if anyone is interested in obtaining it, to feel free to contact me at red . wolf 52 (at) y ah o .co m.Id be happy to provide the recording. Lets put THESE a**holes behind bars- be it a "10 mile radius from here", (hahaha) or if they are somewhere in india, as they most likely are calling from another country with a call forwarding service.Ill give this **** a good hour of looking into, see what additional info I can dig up, (fax # for tracing the lines location, addresses, names, phone registration info, ect.) and after will be posting it here along with providing it to law enforcementDon't let these a**holes waste your time, though, its not worth it unless you can only obtain more info regarding their scam.
I had the same exact thing Wat did they do did they pick you up or what happened
I had the same exact thing Wat did toy do did they pick you up or what happened
Received calls twice today from a guy leaving voicemails stating that I need to call him back the second I get the message, or have my attorney call him, and that "If you don't call back, all I can do is wish you luck." I got the same type of phone call a month ago; both people spoke with heavy accents. I feel like I'm being harassed.
I had the same thing happen to me today; I was so freaked out I sent the letter. Lucky 5 minutes later I came to my senses I spoke to a detective at work who said it sounded fishy plus I got the same call 5 days before but from a different number. I placed a fraud alert on my SSN with all 3 credit companies. I also cancelled and got new bank cards. I also set alerts at my bank to ensure no money is withdrawn or deposited without me knowing; I receiving several text a day from my bank. I also requested a copy of all 3 of my credit reports, and I was told to request a***n after 30, 90, and 120 days.
I received a call today (5times) from a non-english speaking individual..... He stated I was going behind bars, hire me a lawyer, pack up and kiss my kids goodbye, I would be loosing my job at a law firm, and just a bunch of BS. I knew upon the first call this was a LYING A** SCAM! I closed my bank account and reopened a new one. This guy was very nasty and rude. I gave him back exactly what he gave me times 10. I think I called him everything but a child of God. He then left a voicemail for the 6th call. I'm disgusted at this type of harrassment...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That I am involved in a criminal case in New York and will be picked up within a 10 mile radius of my physical address.
I recieved a call from a indian guy he called my phone 6 times today 6/27 and said i would be arrested. i took a payday loan and didnt pay it back, but i never recieved anything, but i owed 8,0000.00 and that i would spend 30 days in jail. who are these people and why do they have all my information.
I have been receiving calls from two men named Adam Woods and Bryan King. They state that they are paralegals from the Catanese Law Group. When they call, they claim that they have been ordered to call me by the Department of Crime Prevention. They state that they have charges that have been filed a***nst me for the following: 1) Violation of Federal Banking Regulations, 2) Collateral Check Fraud, and 3) Theft by deception. They claim that I took out a payday loan and didn't pay it back and that if I don't pay with my Visa or Debit card the amount of $956.34, they will have the police officers come to my work TODAY and pick me up. They claim that I will have to spend a minimum of 30 days behind bars, and pay up to $8,000 in res***ution. Mr. Woods wanted me to send him a fax letter that stated that I would pay the money and would not dispute it. He stated that if I didn't send the letter today and send the money to him by Monday, 6/27 then he would have the an officer come and pick me up from my work (he knew the name of the company where I work). I am just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them, and what they did. Thanks!
My husband received a phone call from an indian at this number claiming they deposited money into our account and didnt repay it. He claimed they'd be coming to arrest my husband at work in a few days for fraud, but refused any info as to the dollar amount or account number etc.. I called my bank to set security measures into action since I have had an unauthorized withdrawl from my checking account recently, so obviously someone had intercepted some of my bank account info. We are still worried though because this person had my husbands social security and employer info etc.. My research so far on the internet is coming back that it is a big SCAM though

It is a bogus place that is trying to scam you for your money. DO NOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE. If you ever applied for a payday loan they will have your information. PLEASE be careful.
