Tried to sell a Commander UTV for $1400. Husband died, moved back to Utah......blah blah blah. Same as everyone else. Provide this phone number (1 (818) 920-8758) and said it was Ebay and they would****ist me with making the purchase.
This was the number someone gave me when I was trying to purchase an RV. They said it was an eBay representative. Same as another person above - they wanted $1200 in eBay giftcards, her husband died, eBay was going to ship the item free of charge. The ad for the RV was on Facebook Marketplace. Total scam.
Tried to sell me a Range Rover 2008 sports at $1200 via eBay motors and wanted me to make a payment buying eBay cards arts and said that they would deliver me with free shipping option.
Advertised a tractor for sale....said husband died and moved back to omaha....gave us an ebay motors number, did not show up, traced the number back, and it came to cali....a number for a scammer...the ad is gone in craigslist now...hope everyone checks this out....beware....
This number is listed as an Ebay Customer Service number and is obviously a scam. They want you to buy ebay gift cards with cash only to by expensive items. I confronted them on the phone when my teenage son was almost scammed.
