Who is behind this number??

This company is a legitimate collection service frequently used by Mission Hospitals in Asheville.  Once an past due balance has reached 60 days and there is no response from you via mail or telephone to settle the debt, HMS becomes involved with the sole purpose of obtaining full payment.

I got a message from Karen too, not stating the nature of her call.  I get calls from this number several times a day.  I do not answer because I do not know who it is.

I received a call from a Nancy asking me to verify my birthdate...I asked her what company she was with and what this matter was pertaining to...she stated she had a confidential business matter to discuss but had to verify my iden***y first.  I explained I would not give out any personal information until she identified herself and her company... she ***g up.  After checking the caller ID and identifying HMS 828-251-1575, I called back and she answered.  I a***n asked her why she had called and who she represented and that I would make a report to the NC Attorney General if she didn't explain what the call was about.  She quickly stated she would put the information in the mail and ***g up a***n. It may not be related but about 30 minutes later I received another call/recording from a number stating my account at Telco Community Credit Union may have been compromised... I don't have an account at Telco so I ***g up.  When I called the number on the caller ID, it was a legitamate business which had no problem disclosing their names, business or any other information I requested; they were very concerned with the call and encouraged me to report it to my states Attorney General.  Possibly someone was able to cross or intercept the caller ID information.

I also just recieved a voice mail from this number.  All the message said was that this was Nancy and that I needed to call. When I called they would not even tell me who they were. The number belongs to H M S. not a clue what they want.

Someone named Karen called me from this number and left only her name and number.  I called back and asked her what was the nature of her call and she said, "I don't know.  I'll have to look that up".  I replied, "so you called me and don't know why?"  "Yes", she said.  I simply ***g up.  I don't have time for single digit I.Q.'d people that call you and don't even know why.
