I see that these actions have names attached to them already. What Credit One Bank was trying to do with their call is called neighbor spoofing and also known as NPA-NXX spoofing. Like I said it's a low down tactic for a national bank to use.

I believe this is Credit One Bank using a spoof number to make me think that they were nereby. That's disillusioning that an institution like a national bank would use the same low tactics as telemarketers and scammers use.
