How can I stop them?

I just got this call as well and also just finished paying off a bill I have with my local hospital. However, when I called it back I didn't get anyone. It just went directly to voice mail.I have learned in the past with a creditor or not I make my payment directly to whatever company I owe because I never trust these types of ppl.

They claimed they were calling about a hospital bill I owed.  Ignorantly, I actually s****ed sending money orders to these people and repeatedly requested by phone and by mail for them to send me receipts or statement of account or so****ing showing the debt owed and they never sent anything at all.  So, I quit paying it.  Also, I owed another medical bill from another company who was legit and they reported on my credit.  This particular agency didn't report anywhere on my credit.  Im not really sure what's going on here, but I refuse to pay any money to any creditor who cant send me some kind of do***ent showing that I owe them. An even then, Id be a little hesitant.

I got a call as well. She gave me a case number and I asked if this was his attorney and told her that I was his mother.  Iasked if I could help her. She replied that he (my son)was over 18 (he is) and tht this was a legal matter and only he could speak to her. She requested a call back befor 4:00 also. She said her name was Ms.Nelson. I think I WILL return the call and find out what this is about.  Will inform with any info.

Someone from this number called and asked for my six year old son.  Said that he needed to call her back by 4:00 or have his attorney call.  They give a case # to reference.  I am about to call them back and give them a piece of my mind.  We do have some medical bills however they are being paid and none of them are in my six year olds name.  Hello???? When will these idiots ever stop?  This is ridiculous.
