Received a text message from 210551-7916. Message says: "Member Alert". generations FCU. Your CARD #@@@@@@ has been temporarily DEACTIVATED! To reactivate, please call GFCU (830)645-0090".

I got the same message. I have made family and friends aware of this. The media will also be informed as well
Just got a text message from this number as well and said that my bank card was deactivated and needed to call this number to reactivate my card. Problem is that i was already aware of this scam, therefore I did not fall into their trap. Hope you dont either........BEWARE!!!!!

Not just spam it's CRIMINAL! This # was texted to me to call because "my card" had been "temporarily deactivated". The text came from (210)718-1934 & said to call (830)645-0090. I called the Card Company Directly and they told me not to respond that it was a hoax from people trying to get my personal information & that they were receiving a high volume of calls reporting the same issue. ALWAYS call you card company or bank directly to verify information before calling or responding to any phone, text, or email messages about any financial matters. It's worth the time & effort & it can save you a lot of time, effort, & suffering later.
