Just received the same phone call. Good thing I'm getting a new bank account today! Don't play into his scam...I'm not even going to waste my time calling him back. Thanks for all of the good advice!

Caller called several times saying he was from a law firm and that I owed money to a payday loan company. I referenced it and the time he has I did not have the account in which he was referring so when I called back and asked him questions he got mad and told me not to stall for ti*****en he ***g up the phone

These people have been calling me for about a week now. I cant understand a word the guy is saying. His name is william Jones which Im sure is a fake name since his accent is so thick you can cut it with a knife. They said I owed m oney for a payday loan from a year and a half ago. I never took out a loan and The guy s****ed yelling at me telling me that I had to pay it or I was gonna get arrested. Scary Part is the guy read to me my SS#, current address, employer, phone # and bank account #. I am reporting  them this afternoon and c****ing all my info.

This caller called for the first time yes****ay.

Unknown number shows when person is calling when I answer no one is on the line but somehow they leave a msg states this is a time sensitive matter if I ignore this msg they will not be responsible for what happens next when i called back 8312197607 states i got a payday loan in 10/07(not) acct was not even open then they have my acct# routing# wrg scary huh! will c****e ckg acct asap. Person went as far as to tell me that i needed to appear in court in CA because a lawsuit had been filed a***nst me for scary but i feel more comfortable knowing more that likely a scam. Person goes by Mike and some Eric Matthews

the EXACT same thing happened to me today, did he have an accent? cause the guy who called me did, but he went by the name of Mike Anderson. He told me "there was a case being 'downloaded' a***nst me". he was VERY rude, telling me "He don't have to listen to my 'Bull S**t' and used phrases like "Listen Lady". He also ***g up on me TWICE. I think it's a scam too. I think he was getting nervous when he figured out i was "on to him".

this number called me earlier saying i owe money from a paydayloan and i think its bogus tryn to get my info and the guys name is erick matthews!!
