I recieved calls from a "representative" from this number claiming that they are a cyber crime unit and they have a case a***nst me and to call back with my attorney. They also had my name and last four of my SSN.

caller claming to be from a legal department and says I am going to the civil court. This is a scam person sounds of Indian language. This has been going on for a while.

How do you get them to stop? If this a collection agency, do they have the right to call you at work? I am so confused? You cannot even ask what it is about before the man with a heavy Indian accent is yelling at you?

I KEEP GETING CALLES FROM 0000 SAYING TO CALL THEM BACK ABOUT AN URGENT LEGAL MATTER REGARDING AN UNPAID LOAN. I HAVE NO LOANS THAT ARE CURRENTLY BEHIND ON PAYMENTS, AND WOULD LIKE TO FILE A COMPLAINT. THEY KEEP ****ING UP ON ME AND TELLING ME THEY CANT HELP ME KNOW I CANT EXPLAIN EVERYHTING TO THE ARRESTING OFFICERS TOMORROW?? WHAT THE*****? NOW THE NUMBER IS UNAVAILABLE AND SOMETIME A LADY ANSWERS SAYING THIS IS HER HOUSE NUMBER AND SHE HAS NO IDEA WHATS GOING ON...THEY CALLED OUT MY SSN AND MY BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER AND BY ADDRESS AND EVERYTHING ELSE AND I WOULDNT VARIFFY ANYTHING FOR THEM..WHAT DO I DO NOW? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME

The number comes up as 0000 but the person leaves a message to call 8316182422 to call back or I will have to go to civil court involving a matter. The person did not say what the purpose of the call was for it is a scam trying to get information saying you owe a debt and will have to go to civil court. BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM.

These ppl call at all hours of the day..but recently have been calling once a week on sa****ay at 6:45 AM!! These people are MAJOR scammers and need to be stopped...The caller..usually an Indian with a heavy accent and sporting a very American name..such as Brian Johnson...demands payment for a loan that I had taken out on-line and defaulted on..though it's never the same amount..first call it was $200..second call it was $300..and the very last call I received I was told the loan amount was $400!! I asked them where the loan originated and was told it was none of my business, and they only had the last four digits of my SS# and when I asked them to verify my social...they ***g up on *****ey call from different numbers..970-173-667052-556-790408-970-173667831-618-2422862-824-52253These are all numbers that have shown up on my caller ID.

I was out of state on vacation with family when I received a message on my cell phone from a foreign gentleman stating that the very second I receive this message I need to return the call and that it is extremely time sensitive to call Richard Parker at 831-618-2422 claiming I needed to respond immediately or else! He stated, "don't disregard the message and if I don't return the call and he don't hear from an attorney either all he could do is wish me good luck as the situation unfolds...good luck take care." I was dumbfounded by the message so I called the number back getting another foreign individual with a strong accent who could not give me Richard Parker and no explanation to why I couldn't speak to him....this individual stated I had a pay day loan I did not pay and needed to pay $934.26 today! I stated I had no unpaid loans but he kept insisting I did and stated that a sheriff would be on my door step the next morning if I didn't pay it and I could lose my job and be charge with felony charges. I was completely dumbfounded by these people...I ask for their company name, an account number, a copy of the contract of the loan in which they were stating I owed and all he could say was I would get it when the Sheriff came to my door. I was even told that I had to pay it by debit card that day that they would not except any other type payment. I am angry that people like this get away with this ****! If I really owed them money, they would take it however they could get it. Needless to say, they didn't get a penny from me! If they can't give you information then so****ing is up!

This number keeps calling me.  What I found out is that if you have ever had a payday loan and whether you defaulted or not, they are buying lists from these companies with people's information and calling and threatening them.  Be for real!!!  If an attorney or anyone is suing you, they formally send items in the mail, give you a chance to respond and then they may press charges if they don't hear back from you.  Also any reputable organization will give you any and all of the contact information that you ask for including the company name, the client name and all other pertinent info.  DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!  I know someone who did and they are now out of $3,000.  Never ever give anyone any of your information over the phone.  If they have your information, don't confirm it.  They will steal your money or even your iden***y. Also note at how these people talk.  It is a very bad imitation of an accent and then they try to use reguar names like John Wilson, come on now!!!!  DON'T BE FOOLED!!!  If there is a legitimate legal claim, ask them to mail it to the address that they so called have on file for you.  If they say they can't, it is a scam.

I have also received calls (up to 8 in a row) saying I owe some type of debt. I could barely understand the caller because of the thick accent.  I do not owe these people anything and was unable to get any additional info.The just ***g up.

Threatened that I would be arrested and my social security number would be "blacklisted". After reading your posts about this number I filed a complaint with FTC.gov . I called them back to try to get some info about this debt they say I owed, no one had any clear answers. I told them that I was filing a complaint and that I would speak with the police and the guy on the phone said in an angry voice do not come crying to me when you are arrested. I have been trying to call them back to get more information but they keep ****ing up on me when they realize its me ( very proffessional ).  When they pick up the phone they say it is some kind of Law firm so if I can get through to somebody Im going to ask for the bar number for the lawyer in charge over their and if their is an actual lawyer Im going to file a complaint to the Bar.831-618-2422

I own a collection agency and pay my bills so I'm not sure why I'm getting a call from these people. Their tactics are sick and myself or my****ociates would never use these terrible ****ods including on a voicemail. I told them I was a collection agency and they kept ****ing up on me. For all the other people out there this has happened to, don't worry, I'm going to small claims court next week and suing them for harassment. I'm also using their message as an example of what not to do, although I know my collectors would never leave a message like this! By the way, since they called my company line, I have the recording saved and it has their # and time of call right on it.# 831-618-2422They said Anderson Law Firm (I doubt it).Whitepages put the number as a land line in Boulder Creek, CA.

I received a call from this guy, who could definitely NOT speak clear and concise english threatening me.  I would like to report him and am not sure to whom.  Any help would be apprecieated.

Someone help me find out who it is!!!
