That a civil complaint against me, a female voice left a voicemail with the file number and for me to call back

Person they were calling wasn’t me - wrong last name. The person they were trying to reach or their attorney should call back right away - otherwise there would be legal proceedings without any further contact or knowledge. Case number was ridiculously long. Definitely spam ?

That a claim had been filed against someone who the phone number did not belong to and also gave a case number. Said that a call back had better be made in order to stop any further action.

They called and left a message stating that I did not respond to a Civil suit against me that was mailed! The lady demanded I return her call or the case will move forward without my knowledge or consent, she then left a case # with the last 4 of my SS#. Thankfully I'm legal savvy and Don't put up with these scam calls. Everyone be careful

Careful, the comment before this may be the spammer. Same happened here except they had name and gender wrong but they gave a reference number nothing near a SSN.(Ending in 001). They basically order you to call them ("you need to call me") and threat that it is going to court. 100% spammer!

Based on the message my co-worker took. It was a personal matter and they would come get me if I did not respond.

They said that they would come to my address it come to my job

They said a complaint was filed against me and to hacve my attorney contact them.

Called & said there is a matter against me. If i do not respond soon, then it will go ahead further with or without me knowledge. But they never said what company it was. But they did give me a reference number that included the last 4 of my ssn.
