I received an email regarding a paypal purchase confirmation for $700+ that I did not make and it said I would have to cancel in 48 hours. I reported it. I knew it was a scam because I don't have a paypal account.

It sends me paypal purchase confirmation which I never did.

It was just text message asking me who I am when they called my phone

He asked if this was "My name" so I replied no, he then asked who I am and I said I'm her sister. Seemed very legit, but I've never known Verizon to call their customers
