Leave a CommentThe first person I spoke with said the company was called "Creative Solutions" and that I had won a $100 gift card in a drawing I had been automatically entered in just by making a purchase at either Walmart or Target. He also mentioned looking at my receipt. The second time I spoke with someone, she claimed I'd been entered through an on-line purchase. They did not know my name, but only my phone number. They wanted my name, number and address. I was su****ious. So I didn't give any info. out. I asked how they obtained my cell phone number from a receipt and they replied that I must have paid with a debit or credit card. However, my debit card is not linked to my cell number. They claimed these big companies like to reward their customers by having these drawings and since I was chosen, they were going to send me the gift card. I asked them why they needed me to state my information since they should already have received it from the big company like walmart and target. The lady explained that her company was hired by Walmart and Target to simply deliver the gift cards and that they had only been given the phone numbers of the winners and not their names, addresses, etc. The more I pressed for information, including asking to speak to a manager, the more pushy and mixed up their stories got. One woman who claimed to be the supervisor finally admitted that all there was that she was holding back from me is that I'd have to pay for the shipping and handling. I replied, "shipping and handling for a little bitty gift card? That could be easily mailed in an envelope." She replied, "Look! Are you interested in receiving the gift card or not?" I forgot to mention that the supervisor never asked for my name, but kept pressing me to tell her the state in which I live so she could tell what prizes were actually available for me. Shouldn't she already know what prizes she is awarding to me before she actually calls me? This is a hoax. There are too many versions of the story and they could not even give me the name of the affiliate company they are working for whose website or store I recently visited and/or purchased so****ing from with my debit or credit card.
