I was trying to sell an item through facebook. This person was giving me her number for me to call. I did not. Instead, she asked for my phone number and I replied that I was not going to share my personal information over facebook.

Claims to have received my cel # from Facebook Marketplace thru fb messenger & is attempting to commit fraud by ***ning access to my account. Here is what one of the several messages stated, all trying to convince me to send a code … “Yea, I got your post fb marketplace.but for my safety, can i send 6 digits verification number to make sure you real. You know most of post is fake here.can i send it?”
