Also send me a picture viewing the living room and the bed roomsAs regards the lease agreement, I want you to send it to me for my review. I will eventually have it filled and signed on my arrival in your place as I am of the opinion that such do***ents are best filled and signed physically. We can s**** the lease by November 20th 2010 and I will be doing a one year lease. I was contact by Lucas Ewers claiming to be moving from the UK. The number I was given is and anwersing service and no such number is in the system. stay away from this.

Got the same offer on my condo (Maryland). Same name and numbers, same story.  I am curious what state(s) other condos are located that he is trying to scam and how this would have played out if I fell for it....

I also received an email from the person calling himself Lucas Ewer.  He claimed to be an engineer from the UK wanting to rent my condo he found on craigslist. He gave me the name of the company he works for now "Sir William Arrol & Co."  I researched that company and found out it went out of business in 1969.  RED FLAG.  That was enough for me, I knew it was a scam.  Watch out for this person, there are some really sick people out there.

This person calls himself Lucas Ewers. He claims to be from the UK and is an engineer.  He supposedly has a wife and child and he wants to rent our condo.HE IS A FRAUD!! He contacted me through an ad I placed on craigslist for a   condo rental.  He also supplied me with his phone #44-702-406-0969 and his fax #44-870-495-62. His email is:[email protected].  Beware of this guy. Do not give him any information!!!

Same story different name and company. Unidentified man went by Lucas Ewer while trying to rent my Condo. he got my information off of craigslist.com. and was using the e-mail:[email protected] With the same phone number listed above. a friend of mine warned me about him trying to sell or rent my property behind my back. DO not give this guy any of your information!

Have a rental in Alaska and received an email about the same as all of you. He is going by Paul Long.  My friend said to forward the email to the Attorney Generals office. I am sure there are some people that are taken in by the scammers.

This guy e-mailed me today in regards to my rental, wanted livingroom dimensions so he could order furn, will pay me 2mths rent+dep to send him the lease yahda,yahda, goes by the name this time as Tony Scoot Engineer, working with a David Richards at a number of 206-309-7223. Says he will working a job with this Mr,Richards for United States Steel Corporation.There was a number at the bottom of his e-mail,447031833187. he also stated that he would have his connection here in the states send me a certified check...totally a scam here!!! thank god for some great neighbors I have whos' son is with Lawenforcement.

I must have been optimistic about"ALBERT KEANE"  He sent me the exact same as email as rebecca.  I have been emailing back and forth and he has sent me a cashiers check from wachovia bank.  I have not been out any money to date.  The cashiers check is sitting at the bank waiting to be cleared.  What can I do to put a stop to this guy.  googled the reference and found this.

Same here.  Quick response and googled his references.  This site posted.  Thanks.  I was a bit skeptical when he stated he had a financier in the states.He went by the name of Albert Keane and his "precious" family.

I just posted in craiglist for rental property. This sounded so good. I just responded to this guy and what made it weird that I got a responsed back quick. That made me google his so call company and this website came out, now that I'm reading the exact thing he wrote, this is a scam.. Thank you everyone here for posting everything this guy is doing. Like craiglist says be careful with those scams out there...

The number and guy using this number to buy things or rent property are fake.  He uses this long story that he and his wife and coming in from some other country and needs a place for a year.  Please report this person as phishing at whatever email domain he uses on you.  For me his name was Davies Taylor and his email was [email protected].

Guy tried it with me but for some speakers and sent me a few grand more than what its worth now he is going by peter anson and is doing the same scam but with western union were i am supposed to send him the difference this guy really needs to go down watch out for s**t like this i'm not that dumb but i am sure there are people out there who would fall for so****ing like this

This dude did the same thing to me.  Said he was working for a construction company and that he wanted to send me a check.  Never got to the part where he wanted to send me more and then me send back the difference.  The part that worries me is now he has my address.  Should I be worried???   Incredible how sneaky and sick people are!

The same person contacted me, calling himself John Davies, about my rental advertised on Craigslist. He said he was coming to the states for one year with his wife and daughter. Yup, this guy calling himself "Ray Taylor" contacted me about my rental on craigslist.  He wanted to pay before coming and wanted the dimensions of all my rooms so that he could have furniture ordered and sent to my house...even though he didn't know the address.  He then told me he was working with A Managerial Engineering Company but would be working with Culligan International Corp here in the states.  He said he had a "financer" that would be paying his bills upon moving here with his wife and 7 year old son. He said that I could send him the lease agreement written up in his name for him to review, but that he wouldn't be signing it until he arrived in the states. He said that he would be working directly with George W. Tamke with Culligan International Corp and that we could contact him at 832-615-1294.  I looked up George Tamke and discovered he is****ociated with Culligan, but he sits on the board of directors.  He would NEVER be working with a low level grunt on an engineering project.  Boy, what do these idiots with a lot of time on their hands have to ***n from all of this?  He never even got to the part about sending me a cashiers check for more than the amount.

Yes I got the same song about engineer milburg and found this when i put this phone number in google.  i didn't do a thing so blah blah blah to him.  I was renting a home as well. Thank you Jesus for the Internet. Can I get a Hallelujah.

This guys a scam artist. Showed interest in a rental property of mine that was posted on Craigs List...the old "my representative will pay with a cashiers check" scam.  He wants to send you a bogus cashiers check for more than the amount you want and then he wants you to send him back a check for the difference. In his solicitation to me he presents himself to be Engineer Milburg working for Wes*** Survey & Design Ltd UK. His reference is given as a David Richards of the United States Steel Corporation at 832-615-1294.My question, is anybody really ****** enough to fall for this **** and why hasn't this guy been arrested?  Hello, anybody there at the Houston Police Department or local FBI office?

I was given this number from a Hubert Milburn from England.  He wanted me to call this number to confirm that he'll be coming to the States to do contract work for one year, he'll be working with a guy name David Richards.  I think this is a scam.
