Call but no message Answered last but no one there
I received a phone call today from this number. They said they were Bank of America represented by ARS but they wanted my birthday as a form of verifying who I am. I told them to verify who I am by telling me my birthdate. They would not comply and I refused as there are scams out like this. I also told them I do not remember owing Bank of America. I finally ***g up on them. Do not give out your personal info to anyone. I told them to mail me a letter.
I tracked down their website and they have NO contact information on the internet site?!?!?! Also, they provided a submission form which DID NOT EVEN WORK! It's ridiculous and infuriating (which is what their job is and the effect they apparently want to have on people because they know they're not going to get anywhere with people anyway, the way they are and do business!) In other words, they can hassle and harrass the consumer, but the consumer cannot defend themself a***nst them! So they find you in whatever devious ways they do it, but you cannot reach them in return either by phone or email. I would like to know what they think they can accomplish by doing this other than just ****ing people off! *****s.
Who is it and how did they get my number? I try to stay private but hardly anyone respects that. I have a problem with ARS and I have NO idea HOW they got my private numbers! This is infuriating.
ARS... collection company. I think about a Chase Bank debt.
Received a call to my cell number. A woman asked if my name was ___________, I said yes and she then ***g up. When I called back to find out what company it was - it rang and then went to a busy signal.
